If you’re craving rich North Indian comfort food with a heavy dose of मिठास (sweetness), this place absolutely delivers! Started the meal with their iconic Flavoured Lassi / Thandai and Balwant’s Special Rabri Lassi – thick, creamy, and loaded with dry fruits. It’s not just a drink, it’s practically a dessert in itself 😄 For mains, went with Paneer Butter Masala, paired with Cheese Garlic Naan and Masala Naan/Kulcha. The paneer gravy was rich, buttery, and slightly on the sweeter side (very Kolkata-style), while the naans were soft, cheesy, and perfectly charred 🔥 Also tried the Cheese Paneer Paratha – quite filling and indulgent, especially if you love cheese-loaded bites. Now coming to the highlight (for me 😍): Rabri Gulab Jamun and Rabri Jalebi – absolute showstoppers! Warm, syrupy sweets topped with thick rabri… pure bliss. This is where Balwant Singh Dhaba truly stands out 💯 Perfect spot for late-night indulgence or a heavy cheat meal. Not the place for light eating – you come here to go all in!

On saptami, my friend and I visited this place. We just wanted to have a good tea in "মাটির ভাঁড়" (clay cup). The tea was good. All the tiredness went away after the first sip. The owner uncle is so amicable and friendly. He gave us complementary nimki chaat which was absolutely delicious and we quite enjoyed it with the tea. I have to mention this - I also saw him giving a 5 star chocolate to a child (her parents were drinking tea) lovingly. At the end of the day these little things become good memories of a lifetime. I really had a great time. Probably going to visit again soon.

One of the best butter paneer, kulcha and tarka roti that I have had. The taste hasn’t changed in fact gets better each time. Full marks also to the packing.

Had the best aloo kulcha with tomato, imli chutney; best warm meal if you want to satisfy your midnight craving. The kulcha is crispy, filled with an amazing aloo filling and the melting butter cube on the top of it!! The chai is feel is overpriced, not that good.

They forget to order in kitchen few item ordered. While they get those, rest item is completed. While making bill, they forget to add all items.

it was peak lunch hour, there was a decent crowd but only one server. food was delicious but overpriced and more than half the menu was unavailable. everyone sitting and waiting complained of the same problems and were quite vocal about it. however, the manager or staff were not much bothered, they were busy packing food for delivery while everyone else waited.

I with my wife visited on the recommendation and zomato best veg resturnat award 2024 .I came from Rajasthan and had flight later evening. however when I came were to wait at seat . the behavior of manager was very rude as he doesn't care for anything. we were served food after 30 minuts with below issues 1. we ordered water bottle but not served till we finished and left 2. we ordered lemonade before food order again not served till left 3. no availability of tissue, spoon, Fork 4 we ordered Roti but it was not baked we requested but not listing so we left half food finished 5 no customer hearing at all this was happening to everyone sitting there and yelling at manager but he was not in mood to listen and says it happenes on weekend Mr. Deepinder Goyal Sir please go and check how can you give best resturant award to that place .. we left for airport hungry ...........

1 Star I’ve been a loyal customer of Balwant Singh’s for over 15 years, but today’s experience was extremely disappointing. The food quality has deteriorated drastically, and even after raising concerns, both the owner and the person at the billing counter simply ignored us. The samosa had hair in it, the sarso da saag was served cold, the makki di roti was rotten, and the dal tadka was completely tasteless—no salt, no butter, nothing. It feels like the place is now running purely on its old goodwill, not on the quality they were once known for. I would honestly suggest fellow foodies reconsider visiting Balwant Singh until they improve their standards.

THE MOST DISGUSTING DISGUSTING PLACE I HAVE EVER BEEN. WE LEGIT SAW RATS ROAMING THERE. Food was good only but the hygiene is so so bad. They don’t even have proper menus - they have paper ones which were so dirty because many people had touched the same one and it had become yellow because of it. We literally thought we will get food poisoning after coming from there.

I would not recommend going here at all. The service is "thakeli", they will serve on paper plates, it's very unhygienic. Food is also bad, don't expect Amritsar or Punjab ka khana/Lassi. A poor experience and waste of time.
