Recently visited Banana Leaf Vivekananda Park, and honestly, it’s one of the best pocket-friendly South Indian spots in South Kolkata. Tried their Masala Pepper Dosa, which was perfectly crisp and had that extra kick of flavour. The Mini Meal is a complete plate full of taste and variety, ideal for a light yet satisfying meal. Dahi Vada was super soft and refreshing, and the highlight? That Filter Coffee – strong, aromatic, and hands down one of the best I’ve had in the city. The place has a simple, clean ambience – perfect for family dining or even a casual coffee-date under ₹160! Highly recommend for anyone craving authentic South Indian food without burning the pocket.

When craving dosa and uttapam, Banana Leaf is my top choice. Their incredible packaging ensures that every order arrives fresh and intact. Despite being affordable, the food is bursting with authentic flavors that never disappoint. The dosas are perfectly crispy, and the uttapams are delightfully fluffy, making each bite a true culinary delight. Banana Leaf's commitment to quality and taste is commendable, making it a favorite among food enthusiasts. For delicious South Indian cuisine that won't break the bank, Banana Leaf is the go-to spot that consistently delivers on taste, affordability, and convenience. Thumbs up for the place.

Definitely a Must Visit Place for All South Indian Food Lovers. Neat & Soothing Ambience with South Indian Touches. Tried their Paper Masala Dosa, Idli Onion Tomato Uttapam & Mini Idlis. All the dishes were delicious & freshmade. Food was served in steel utensils with Banana leaf on them. Wide Sitting arrangements & Staffs are very friendly. Washroom is available. This is a Wonderful Family restaurant with tempting varities of Vegetarian SouthIndianfood at Vivekananda Park.

Came in with a friend on a Saturday evening for a light snack and ordered a Cheese Uttapam. I've always been a fan of their Cheese Uttapam and Butter Paper Dosa. Yes, the prices have gone up by a lot making it a little less value for money as compared to before, but quality is somehow held, not at 100% but 90% is there. Good amount of cheese. Sambar is still decent and so is the white coconut chutney. The orange chutney was bad and had an odd smell, so I didn't eat it.

visited the outlet situated at keyatala road( hemanta mukhopadhyay sarani) this evening. I ordered one butter onion masala dosa and for my wife rava onion dosa. In our utter disappointment, they served us butter masala dosa & rava onion masala dosa. I told them instantly but they didn't bother about this. I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS OUTLET TO ANYONE.

The food was horrible. We order via zomato. Very badly packed dosas, not crispy, oily and thick. The chutney was even worse. No red chutney was given. The masala aloo tasted like boiled potatoes. Komala vilas is the best branch. Their packaging and food quality is superb and they give red chutney too!
