Beijing is a renowned food joint at China Town , Tangra. Famous for it's Chinese Delicacy. We went here on the auspicious day of Bengali New Year 1432 ( Eng. 2025 ). Our Experience is as follows:- 1. Food :- We Ordered Golden Fried Prawn & Chilli Garlic Pepper Chicken as starter. Both were nice in taste. Chicken was spicy. Golden Fried Prawn was nice. Batter was well mixed for Coating. Next we ordered Mixed Chilli Garlic Rice , Mixed Rice Noodles , Lemon Chicken & Fish in Hot Garlic Sauce. Rice & Rice Noodles were very good in taste. Well prepared. Fish was average but fresh. Lemon Chicken was disappointing as it was very much sweetish. 2. Ambience :- Ambience was nice. Not very satisfying but okish. Washroom was clean. 3. Service :- The only part I am unhappy is their service. They were very slow even when restaurant was almost empty. The People who serves us were very polite & co-operative. Overall it was a good experience. If you want to visit just try to avoid Lemon Chicken. Otherwise I loved the experience.

The food was not so good and very oily.. we had ordered garlic fish, chicken drums of heaven, chilly bay corn, but to our surprise they all tasted the same..Also they didn’t serve any dishes or asked for so.. no service at all still we are asked to give tips..

Service was pretty slow, servers should be more attentive. we liked the golden fried prawns. The chilli garlic fried rice was below average as it had undercooked onions.

First of all I have visited Beijing many times. it used to be a great resturant with hospitable service and good food at affordable rates. however I was thoroughly disappointed last night. The service was absolute let down. firstly we were shown to an unclean table with used bowls and plates lying there, and we had to call the service persons to point that out. Secondly the waiter (short with moustache) giving out dishes asked about water, since we were waiting for two others we told him to refill once they arrived but the water never came even though food arrived, again we had to call him and upon arriving he started quarrelling. Food, though quantities were reduced, was good but service was bad. waiters were huddling together, looking at floors or ceilings to avoid eye contact with customers in case the customers called them for any service. I don't think I want to repeat Beijing again.

Very disappointing experience at Beijing in Chinatown, Kolkata. We were told 10:30 PM was the last order time, yet the food started arriving only after 45 minutes to almost an hour. Even prawn papad took 45 minutes. The staff behaviour was extremely rude. Every time we called the waiter, he looked irritated and responded in a frustrated manner, almost scolding us. It made the whole experience very uncomfortable. Food quality was poor: Drums of Heaven in Sichuan sauce – The only dish that was good. Diet Coke – Obviously fine. Chilli Garlic Fish – Fish tasted stale and seemed fried in black reused oil. Prawn Papad – Very smelly with black oil all over. Chilli Chicken (asked for dry) – Served with gravy, completely bland, no salt or flavour. Prawn Black Pepper – Extremely salty. Veg Noodles (requested without onion) – Instructions ignored and tasteless. Mixed Fried Rice – Undercooked and bland. When we complained, no one addressed our concerns. The bill was brought with sugar, fennel seeds, and toothpicks literally thrown onto the table. Toothpicks scattered over the table and even our bags, and the waiter walked away without apologising. Very poor service and extremely bad staff behaviour. Definitely not recommended.

Worst Experience I have had with the restaurant, the restaurant's waiter miss behaved with us in front of the restaurant owner Monica Liu, Monica Liu not even bothered to see what is happening. We waited in the restaurant for a long time and some people came after us and they got the seat. We complained about this to the manager and the owner they did nothing so we came out of the restaurant. They did not even have basic courtesy to tell us sorry or give us another seat. worst staff behaviour. Not recommended.

Dining was good experience but at the time of take away order there I have ordered mixed rice and they gave mixed noodles which is not our choice. Even at the time of dining the same issue occurred. Now at the time of delivery the same issue happened
