A completely useless Gondhoraj ghol. After waiting for 1 hour, they just served plain yogurt drink with a bit of smell. After complaining, they simply squeezed a Gondhoraj lemon into it and left. Very much disappointed.

Hirak Rajar Thali & Sundi Rajar Thali are awesome and delicious. I Recommend Bhooter Raja Dilo Bor for Food quality and quantity. Quality time spent with my Family. Hope to visit again.

The worst food I had today in my lunch with an extremely high price. Never visit this restaurant again. Not recommend any one to visit. Hygiene and food quality is soo bad. Prices are too high in comparison with quality and taste.

today myself with family first went to this restaurant, all items are very untesty and very poor, we took hilish & chicken all are very bad, hilish has very hard & no test, chicken also half cooked , I hv lot of experience of various resturent like Aminya, Arslan, barbiq, 6 baligang place, all are good but this restaurant mainly foods are very low quality only hv some bengali sentiment, nothing more

Food quality and preparations are very poor. Today we 9 persons went to Booter Raja Dilo Bor Jadavpur restaurant for dinner however the quality of the food was very poor. We ordered Luchi and found it completely cold, and not fresh. We went to see the reviews of Zomato and Swegy, however disappointed.

Yesterday me and my family went for dinner at this restaurant. The service and the ambience was exceptional. Now coming to food it was not at all upto the mark. We ordered Niramish thali. where my mother did not find the taste as adequate, the veg cutlet was good, alu posto was good. however the dhokar dalna was really pathetic she had to throw it away and also the rest. also we ordered two plates of basanti polao, mutton kosha, kala bhuna mutton, chicken chop and chingri macher malai curry 1. Basanti Polau: Did not have the aroma of ghee, it was completely bland and not even had the typical sweetness. hh 2. Mutton Kasha: only 4 pieces that are very small. 3. Kala Bhuna Mutton: the same 4 small pieces tasted like a Chinese dish 4. Chicken chop: A chicken chop usually has a rich aroma which either chunks or minced meat but I did not find any as such. It did not suffice with the price. A local street vendor makes a lip smacking chicken chop not like them. 5. Chingri Malay Curry: The lobster seemed that it was not fresh it had become stale with the taste not up to the mark. 6. Aam Panna Shorbot: Typical local sourced bottled syrup costing 100+ The food experience was really pathetic. I would request the owner and the head chef to try and maintain the quality checks before the food is served on the table to your customer. Also if the head chef needs inspiration he can visit Jorashankho to try their dishes. It is way better... Bhooter Raja Dillo Bor really a disappointment in terms of food

Extremely overhyped place… First of all, just as we entered, we noticed that the staffs were all on their phones and appeared least interested in taking the order… and once the order arrived, the food was stone cold except for the pulao which is moderately warm… And after we finished our meal, all of a sudden it was like all of the staffs had woken up from their sleep and rushed up to us in order to present the bill and kept lingering till we had tipped them… Will never suggest this place to anyone… we dined there just because we were very hungry and were taking our first meal at 5 pm, hence we had no option other than swallowing down that stone cold food they served us… Super annoying! Never ever going back there again and shall ask all my friends living in Jadavpur to never visit this place too!

If you’re looking for an authentic Bengali feast, Bhooter Raja Dilo Bor (Jadavpur Branch) is an absolute must-visit! Our recent visit here was nothing short of a culinary delight, with every single dish exceeding expectations. The highlight of our meal was undoubtedly the Mutton Kosha—rich, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The Pabda Jhal had the perfect balance of spice and mustard, bringing out the delicate flavors of the fish. The Chicken Dak Bungalow was a nostalgic treat, with tender chicken and a perfectly boiled egg soaking up all the delicious gravy. And, of course, the Shukto set the perfect tone for the meal, with its mildly bitter yet comforting flavors. Beyond these standouts, every item in the thali was exceptional, from the fragrant rice and dal to the various bhajas and chutneys. What impressed us even more was the generous portions—we ordered three thalis, and it was more than enough for six of us! With impeccable service, a warm ambiance, and food that speaks to the heart of Bengali cuisine, Bhooter Raja Dilo Bor has truly won us over. We’ll definitely be back for more!

Good Bengali food, no complaints. The fish fry was solid, and everything else we tried was just as good. They serve on kashar thala, which is a nice touch. Service was decent, waiters were polite. The only thing is, it’s pretty crowded and a bit crammed, but that’s expected since it’s a popular place. Good for a meal with family or friends.
