Yesterday, I visited this popular cafe located just 700 meters from New Market or Esplanade metro station with my sister. We were eager to try out their continental cuisine. **Ambiance:** The interior was quite simple, consisting of three rows of tables and chairs on both sides. It wasn't particularly impressive, but it was comfortable enough for a casual meal. **Food and Service:** We started with the cream of mushroom soup, which wasn't on the menu. The waiter kindly arranged it for us, which was a pleasant surprise. The soup was heavenly, with a rich, creamy texture that was enhanced perfectly with a bit of pepper. Next, we ordered the double chicken lasagna and roasted chicken. The lasagna was cheesy, creamy, and absolutely delicious—definitely a must-try. The roasted chicken was served with blanched and stir-fried vegetables, mashed potatoes, and a flavorful glazed sauce, making for a well-rounded and satisfying dish. We also ordered two fresh lime sodas—one sweet and one salted. There was a mix-up, and we were initially served the wrong order, but the waiter promptly corrected it by having a new salted lime soda made for us. This level of attentive service was quite impressive. **Value for Money:** The total bill for two came to ₹990, which is around ₹470 per person. Considering the quality of food and the attentive service, I found this to be very reasonable. **Overall:** I would definitely recommend this cafe to anyone looking for a pocket-friendly and tasty meal. The friendly service and delicious food make it worth a visit.

As a college kid, this was one of the first few places to hang out, the obvious reason being budget friendly and huge portions. Years have passed, but the charm remains consistent. This place is famous for its' continental fare and till date maintains its' quality along with quantity. Recommendations are listed below: Breakfast: chicken cheese omlette, mushroom chicken cheese omlette, and one of the most humble options is their Spanish omlette. Sandwiches are good in both veg and non veg; but the chicken keema cheese is the best. Also try their Aloo Paratha if possible. Continental: Double Chicken Lasagne, Grilled Texas Burger. In pasta do try their Bolognese, and the Alfredo. These dishes are one of their best and also, if anyone has a sweet tooth they can try the chocolate pudding flambe.

Came to this place on recommendation of a friend. The place doesn't believe in any outside frills or decor, but delivers where it really matters. The food and the service both were top notch. We ordered sweet corn soup, fish fingers, chicken wanton, chicken steak, chilli cheese toast, and double chicken lasagna. If you want to taste authentic continental dishes at an affordable price, this place should be a no brainer

Visited this restaurant this december . Although tuis place doesn't boast a fancy decor ,still the ambiance is good and definitely suitable for family and friends. Most importantly the quality and taste of the food was ultimate and authentic.we opted for continental dishes. Double chicken lasagna was awesome,so was the chicken in brown sauce. I would definitely visit this place again...

I love this cafe. It is located very close to my house and I frequent it often. The service is super fast and the quality of food is never compromised with. The ambience is very humble but the food reflects the exact opposite. I’ve never been disappointed with anything I’ve ordered here. Great place.

One of the oldest cafes in Kolkata, Blue Sky Cafe has never relied on overhyped influencer marketing or flashy trends. Instead, it's built a reputation over the years purely through its food — especially its affordable English breakfast, which many say rivals that of Flurys at a fraction of the price. Double Chicken Lasagna – Rs.390 (Rating: 4/5) -------------------------------------------------- A rich, cheesy delight with a generous portion size. The lasagna was packed with multiple chunks of well-cooked chicken and tasted great overall. Roasted Chicken in Brown Sauce – Rs.370 (Rating: 4/5) ---------------------------------------------------- A satisfying dish with perfectly smoked chicken and crunchy vegetables, served alongside smooth mashed potatoes. A bit of butter in the mash could have enhanced the flavor even more. The portion size could have been slightly better, but the sauce and cooking were spot on. Blue Sky Cafe may lack the modern, Instagram-friendly decor of newer cafes, but what it offers in terms of honest food and reasonable prices makes it well worth visiting even after all these years. I look forward to trying their breakfast someday!

we visited this place with family after viewing a reel. one thing I must say the food is too impressive specially continental cuisine. others we hv not tried. it's half the price and more in portion than trincas or Mocambo etc. we grilled fish was too good and they gv bhetki for fish fingers not basa. The draw back was atmosphere and cleanniness of the floor. these two things if not improved may not pull crowd and people will opt for take a away. continental food lovers can try once, won't be disappointed. But young modern foodies may not like the place. we visited this place on sun 17th Aug 25 evening

Ordered Fresh juices, Pappaya Lassi, Margerita Pizza, Spaghetti Pomodoro, Fish n Chips & Baked Fish. Every thing was served piping hot & tasted wonderful. Except the spaghetti was sweetish. But on the whole a great meal. Value for money!!!

I had heard a lot about this cafe famous for its continental cuisine. I had their iconic double chicken lasagna. It is sumptuous and heavy and can be shared by 2 moderate eaters or a single person foodie like me. This was the good part. The cafe in itself is very shabby. It does not have a proper toilet. I was not even offered a glass of water. Some of the guests were constantly hollering and talking loudly unbothered which led to an unpleasant dining atmosphere and experience overall.
