The rating of this place is so underrated. It’s a phenomenal place for someone with the palate that understands food. The taste and the variety is phenomenal. Please don’t go by the rating this place deserves a chance. Try the expresso French Toast or the Honey toast. Even the beverages are great.

I'm in love with this cute little cafe. The desserts are to die for. The staff are friendly and even gave us a piece of chocolate as complementary. Their Eclairs, Goey Pecan Tart, Cheesecake, Swiss roll are recommended. Visiting it again. ❤

Browns is really hit and miss - and at the price point it is not acceptable to provide such an inconsistent experience. While some dishes like the pasta and farro salad are delicious, most other dishes miss the mark. I had an egg salad sandwich that turned out to be so sweet because of the dressing. Not worth it!

Placed in a good location, saying the cafe is underwhelming would be an understatement. I tend to judge a new cafe by its coffee for the first time. Going through the menu, the cafe is extremely overpriced, It just didn't make sense. After the coffee arrived, I particularly didn't get any aroma and was forced to ask what coffee they were serving. The person said, "The coffee comes down South and its 80-20". The coffee resembled more of a glass of hot water with a hint of coffee flavor. Either they need to change the roaster, or they need to buck up and accept they're simply serving cheap coffee. After the coffee, I wasn't convinced to order anything and specifically seeing the way they reply to constructive criticism. And, honestly, this was expected from the house of Metro Pole. I really wish they could have done justice, but semi-stale cakes, empty chairs, and overtly expensive food. Oh, how can I miss one of the worst coffee in Kolkata. Just to forget, I had to buy machine coffee from the next alley, Paan Shop.

We ordered an iced tea which didn't taste remotely like iced tea. The first impression after taking the first sip was that it was overpriced. However, bearable. The We had the audacity to try their Buttermilk Fried Chicken. If I have to describe that thing in one word I would say it's ABYSMAL. The chicken inside was stale from another era I suppose. Believe you me, I am feeling pukish from the lingering aftertaste as I type this review sitting in a cab on my way home. Please stay away from this place.

This is a tiny bakery near Deshapriya crossing.. They have minimal bakery options and the place is dim like andheri gufa bakery.. And the staff or the owner I dont know properly who was he was very rude in conversation.. Because of that behaviour i think they’ve minimal customer in their bakery cum cafe.. People need polite behaviour also .. Not only the food behaviour also impress customers..

The Zomato’s menu shows shibuya honey toast priced at rs 500/- which anyway is exorbitant. Today I visited the cafe and the menu said shibuya honey toast at rs 1000/- When asked about the price increase, the staff said it was changed 2 months ago! A direct increase of 100 percent!

Over sweet staff while ordering and extremely rude while billing. We ordered an iced cappuccino, strong and no sugar. They gave us an extra coffee shot without informing and according to them strong coffee means you will be charged extra for it. Over priced and not worth it.
