Went to Burger You yesterday for the very first time, and it's one of the best burger places in the city. The place has a very nice, cozy vibe with good music playing in the background, and they even offer free Wi-Fi. It's a must-visit if you want to try good, authentic American burgers. The owner, Mark, is one of the most humble and sweet people you might ever come across. Also, this place gets visited by loads of foreigners, so you might run into one. The most unique feature I came across was that they allow customers to write messages on the walls, something I've never seen before in Calcutta.

Amazing burgers. I had it 2 days and can’t wait to go there again. The texan burger was my favourite which had beef patty and onion rings. I guess I have a favourite already. The vibe is super chill with very good behaviour from the owner and the staff. I hope they always maintain such quality and open more stores throughout the city!

Tucked away in the corners of Sudder Street, this restaurant is a hidden gem. They serve the juiciest burgers and great drinks, accompanied by prompt service. The aesthetic is laid-back and chill, creating a relaxed atmosphere. What's more, it's very affordable, making it a perfect spot for a satisfying and budget-friendly meal.

Great food and service. The burgers weren’t greasy but so wholesome. Enjoyed every bit of it. A must visit.

A quaint and laid-back spot that caters to both locals and food enthusiasts from around the globe, as evident from the countless messages adorning its walls. We tried: - The Texan Burger - Grilled Chicken Burger - Icarus Chicken Wings - Lemon Herb Iced Tea The burgers were juicy and flavorful, though the Texan leaned a tad bit dry. A bit of raw veggies and pickles might have done the trick. The wings were coated in a deliciously saucy glaze. Overall, it’s a cozy experience, best enjoyed in the evenings to soak in the true vibe.

I had ordered the Oozy Suzy burger along with a beef tenderloin steak. The Oozy Suzy burger, being their rendition of a Juicy Lucy burger, was somewhat disappointing. The patty leaned noticeably on the saltier side, which overpowered the overall balance of flavours. More importantly, the cheese inside was not properly melted and had clumped together rather than delivering the rich, molten centre one anticipates from this style of burger. The pictures shall speak for itself. As for the beef tenderloin steak, I had specifically requested it to be cooked medium rare. Unfortunately, it arrived cooked far beyond medium well, bordering on well done. This significantly altered the texture and tenderness of the meat. Once again, the seasoning was heavier than necessary, masking the natural flavour profile of the meat. The menu presentation was also slightly misleading. I had ordered a honey lemon ginger drink from the "drinks" section, where it was listed alongside cold drinks, only to receive it as a hot tea. While I chose to keep it and it was actually quite pleasant. A clearer categorisation on the menu would help manage expectations. The service of the cafe, despite being adequate staffed, felt disorganised. When I pointed out that the steak was not cooked to the requested doneness, I was informed that it was “medium,” suggesting a lack of clarity or knowledge regarding steak doneness. Furthermore, a second fresh lime soda was ordered approximately twenty minutes before we requested the bill but it never arrived. It was only brought up by the staff after we requested for the bill. I had heard great things about this place, which perhaps heightened my expectations. Unfortunately, the experience did not quite live up to the hype. That said, I remain open to giving it another chance while being particularly interested in trying their Pad Ka Pav being one of the the owner’s specialty and a recipe he reportedly brought back from his trip to Thailand.

All Hype, No Bite! I visited Burger You! after seeing it all over social media. I tried their Grilled Chicken Burger and Icarus Chicken Wings—both were underwhelming in taste and quality. The service was extremely slow, and the crowd didn’t add much to the atmosphere. Given the basic footpath seating, the prices felt unjustified. Overall, the food needs a serious upgrade, and nothing about the visit stood out in a positive way. If you're in the area, you're much better off heading to Raj’s Spanish Café nearby—it’s a far more satisfying experience.

Have a very bad experience. We took Icacus Chicken Wings. First of all delayed service. Second thing the food was having very bad smell. We were four people and three of them got stomach issues. A very bad place. I would recommend anyone to go and over that don't order their icacus chicken wings. Not worth it.
