saturday night family dinner for us. recently heard a lot about their food and ambience. didn't disappoint. started with kebab platter and garlic fish in starter. both the items were quite good in taste. pieces of kebab little small though. in main course we had baked bhetki and bhetki in lemon butter sauce with herbed rice. the bhetki quality was too good. ended with blue berry cheese cake their special. very mild and delicate. loved it

Since this has been one of my most preferred cafes in the Baghajatin area I am writing this review with a heavy heart. Yesterday I visited this cafe which I had booked through Zomato. Firstly the main door was closed and locked from inside although it was only 8:30 p.m. Upon knocking they opened the door. They have a new menu card options and have new tandoori and Chinese delicacies. I had ordered lotus Biscoff frappuccino, Hazelnut Frappuccino, Fish and chips and dry chilly pork. I know about the food quality of this place and we highly anticipated for the food. While waiting I was not given cutlery or any glass for drinking water. Also the service boy gave me their sealed water bottle which I refused and asked for their regular RO water. What shocked me was I had to ask them repeatedly for water which they were not providing and upon firmly asking them to serve they reluctantly did it. The chilly pork was served fast and it was delicious. But after that we waited for 40 minutes for the Fish and chips which they never served. After 40 minutes when I asked them about my order the waiter simply said that it will require more time. Upon asking the reason the waiter was very reluctant to answer and said we are short of staff we can't serve this to you now. The waiter was also very unapologetic and we had to cancel the order as we had no time to wait for that order. Sorry to say but this was not expected from Calcutta Bakery cafe at all. Neither there was much crowd nor the pace was filled with people ordering multiple food options. I would rather not visit this place again.

This is the second time I got dupped by the youtubers .....One of my worst dining experiences....... it has never happened in my life that I had to leave a restaurant as the food served was inedible ..... the sizzler was undercooked and the chicken breast served was not marinated properly. The Pizza was blah!! even a Dominos pizza which is half of its cost tastes better. Now coming to the service part .... the staff was not dressed properly and lacked knowledge about what he was serving .... The sizzler which is a main cource was served within 5 min of serving Coffee and than in another 5 min the Pizza ( starter ) was served. I paid around INR 1700 for this serving which I hardly could have .. ( reffer photo) Moreover the service person was so arrogant that he started teaching how a pizza and a sizzler tastes.....

Despite having good taste of food, the cafe is miserably failing due to their laclustre attitude of staffs. I had ordered 2 cheesecakes much before their closing time, they straightaway cancelled my order, citing some availability issue. They could have called and offered alternative, but they took time and waited until the clock strikes 1 minute before the cosing time and cancelled the order. Same issue faced while we went there for dining, before even presenting the menu, we were informed about the closing time of the restaurant 4 times and that we only have 1 hour to sit at the cafe (we visited at 930 pm). To the owner, your cafe could have reached heights, given better hiring of staffs and not such slacker.

One of the worst experience at the baghajatin outlet. First of all they forgot what I had ordered, secondly the Chicken Ala Kiev is not at all worth it. The size was like that of a cricket ball with margarine stuffed inside which is too much unhealthy at 520rs. The quantity of veggies were also less. At this price I would recommend you can go to other cafes and have a meal or even good big sized ala kiev. Thirdly they gave us wrong bill and also they charge extra service charge. Very bad experience.

Very disappointing experience. We waited for a long time for our food, but it was never served. On top of that, the staff changed the menu from what we originally ordered without informing us properly. Instead of helping us place our order, they kept distracting us and caused confusion. This was a complete waste of time, and the service was extremely unprofessional. I would not recommend this place.

My worst experience ever.... it has never happened in my life that I came out from a restaurant because the food that was served was not edible. I hate wasting food but believe me I had to come out the sizzler was undercooked and Pizza was horrible.

service was not good, seemed the guy was working alone, it was understaffed. coming to the food. Food was good, however the puja menu is still there and the price was excessive hence it was not worth it. I have been visiting here for a long time.

The classic downfall of an once very good cafe. I mean how can someone go wrong with cappuccino. We ordered one chicken crispy fries. No chicken only batter. Will never go again. Please close the brand if you cannot maintain.
