I saw many negative reviews for food. But i found food, pricing, service and ambience all good. This cafe is located inside oxford bookstore. One can purchase a book from the store and read it at the cafe. I ordered a cappuccino and pesto pasta. Both were good. Ambience was good , not much noise and decent for working too.

Ordered fries, honey milk and nuts boba drink peach iced tea and chicken shawarma wrap. Didn’t like the boba drink as it was only full of ice and no nuts were found in the drink. The taste was just okay. Rest were fine.

The place is good but I think staff has been instructed to be a little passive aggressive, but overall behaviour is ok not bad. Food is below average for the price. Only reason I like this place is the ambiance of a book store is too pleasant complimenting it more with some light jazz music.

The fish was not UPTO the mark as the fish needed to be cooked little more than,it was chewy and the batter was not appropriate plus the covering of the fish was not at all easy to cut with butter knife and also the mayonnaise tasted different as in it was not good.

I ordered cheese chilli toast. It took more than 20mins to make. And anyone pls tell them what is cheese chilli toast is. Simple break toasted with cheese ..!!! Omg pathetic !!

I'm giving a Zero star if possible. They don't know what is an English breakfast - served us stale bread, no sausage or hash brownies. Additionally took them so long for a simple order in an empty setting. Never expected from Cha Bar. Highly recommended to avoid forever!

The food was pathetic, stale breads, sausages in English breakfast were replaced with stale kababs and who doesn’t give sunny side in English breakfast. All in all absolutely bad food, though the ambience is good.
