It's been 9 years now I'have been attached with this outlet Ballygunge . Finally writing a review on the base of present day 1st thing is Maneger Md Mustafa he maneges this place very well . A very humble and hard working person . Best Maneger Yet I have seen in my 8 years span of this Outlet The best thing about this Ballygunge outlet is they work as team and very co operative. Hokkah is best in Kolkata @ as usual Zafer is there . Foods are great Mocktail and Drinks are great . Over all my experience is pretty good about this Ballygunge outlet. Thanks Chai break management team for presenting such a wonderful place along with quality hookah food and drinks . Specially thanks to Md Mustafa as manager he maneges things well ( best all Rounder yet I ever seen ) @ Siddharth Malhotra

I recommend people to visit this place as u get friendly staffs and also the best place for vegetarian people as they have multiple options of different flavours of dishes. Located in best location as well nd you can also enjoy the best Sheesha all over Kolkata.

Ordered an avocado mash on sourdough toast, for which they charge 350/- plus taxes. Ordered chai and a pasta too. But the avocado mash was very little avocado mixed with coriander chutney. The sourdough bread was no sourdough but subpar brown bread. Request management to not fool customers with such cost cutting tactics. Also the washroom was not functional which is inexcusable for an outlet in the heart of the city. Really disappointed with this joint since I was quite regular here.

I recently visited Ballygunge Chai Break, and I was very disappointed with the management. From the moment I arrived, there was complete disorganization. Despite having several tables available, it took a long time for anyone to seat us, and once we were seated, we waited over 20 minutes for someone to take our order. It felt like the staff was either overwhelmed or poorly coordinated, with servers constantly running around but no clear direction. The manager seemed completely absent, both physically and in terms of oversight. When we finally got our food, some items were missing, and when we tried to flag down someone to help, it was nearly impossible. Eventually, I asked to speak to the manager to address the delays, and even then, I felt like they were not interested in hearing any feedback or taking accountability. Overall, I was left feeling like customer service is not a priority here, and it reflects badly on the whole experience. I hope they can improve their management practices because, as it stands, I don’t see myself returning anytime soon. There are plenty of other spots in the area where service is taken seriously.”
