Mar 2024: We Celebrated Women's Day By Eating All Possible Types Of Dosas!! 🤤 At: Chennai Square, Salt Lake We started with the usual - Masala Dosa. It was the usual dosa presented like a triangular wrap, filled with potato masala and served with sambhar and three types of chutneys - coconut, tomato-onion and tangy mango. The dosa and all of its accompaniments tasted nice. The aforesaid accompaniments were served with all the dosas. Then, we switched to an upscale version of the same - Cheese Onion Masala Dosa. As expected, it was similar to the first one besides the additional presence of cheese and onion in the stuffed masala. It also tasted nice. Then we dared to experiment with fusion dosas and ordered - CS Pizza Dosa and CS Hakka Chow Dosa. CS Pizza Dosa was an open dosa topped with pizza style toppings, abundant cheese and even a few french fries! It looked spectacular and tasted quite good. CS Hakka Chow Dosa was stuffed with relatively thick chowmein, rolled like a cylindrical wrap, then cut slant ways into 4 equal pieces. The dish looked nice and a tad bit too much for a single person to finish. The stuffed chowmein was kind of bland in taste. It could have been cooked much better. We also ordered a plate of Plain Vada. The medu vadas were big sized, crisp and well cooked. Of course, the entire order was impossible for the trio of us to finish. We got the leftovers packed and enjoyed them while midnight binging of OTT series! The restaurant was clean and well kept. The staff was well trained and courteous. Currently, the restaurant is giving 15% discount on the total bill to Zomato Gold members. We availed this discount. Happy Women's Day to everyone!! 💞 #vfr1047

The mangalore idli was good. Podi and cheese burst dosa were good but coriander dosa was soggy. Service was good and good place if prefer veg only South Indian food

NO HYGIENE MAINTAINED. FILTHY KITCHEN SUSPECTED. COCKROACH FOUND WHILE DINING IN. I HAVE NEVER HAD THIS EXPERIENCE WITH ANY RESTAURANT. Let alone even food stalls; This has 4.4 stars on zomato as of today. No idea how. The full story: We went in on a sunday & when we entered the place it had a distinct smell. Not the nice kind. We had heard that this place is well-loved so we ignored the smell. I went in and asked Can we pay through Zomato? They said Well & good. I sat down with my father hoping to have a nice South Indian breakfast. The taste was okay to begin with; I didn't quite like the taste of my sambhar so; I was just looking through the veggies I might like in it. Of course; to my surprise there was a COCKROACH. When I called the waiter? He was ashamed but still giggled; He called the manager, They said sorry & not to pay. On my way home; I had puked 3 times just thinking about what else could have been there. What will I do of the mere 280; I haven't paid? I'm not one to argue so I left with disappointment. The manager said it's not like this at all. The waiter & the manager kept their heads down & I didn't have the heart to be harsh. Though; You all stay safe. Without proper Hygiene Regulations; you should not visit this place.

Avoid the paneer kheema dosa as its more of Schezwan chilli paneer dosa. Chutneys are not great either. Idly was fluffy. Cockroaches around the restaurant. Hygiene is definitely not something they care about. Uttapam is chewy and more like a pizza dough than being fluffy and soft. They don't serve RO water. Only option is to buy mineral bisleri bottle water. For the pricing, I would recommend going other reputed south indian restaurants who offer better quality, hygiene and flavours.

this is how they cook onion masala dosa. the taste of everything is pathetic. not all south indian taste. they did not accept card for payment. only cash. and this is not written or notified anywhere in the premises. horrible experience.

I don’t know how this place has 4.4 stars but the food was not up to the mark. The sambar was tasteless and cold. The food was very very average. Overall it was not a good experience

Absolutely pathetic! I just walked out of here, a customer had a cockroach in their idli and the whole place lacked hygiene. I would recommend you to stay away.

They started using footpath standard oil. after having dosa the entire family started to get acidity and heart burn. shame on Chennai Square

We found cockroach in sambar. Very poor quality of food. There was no hygiene maintained. Do not recommend it at all.

there was no staff around , the food was horrible and tasteless, the menu card updated on zomato is false
