We visited this place on 31.10.2023. I had earlier visited this place in 2013 and liked it. This time I found the place has been completely revamped and looks more sophisticated with wooden finish and long glass windows. The entire restaurant was empty given it was a Tuesday . The waiter was very sweet and chatted with us. We ordered chili chicken dry as starters, Mixed chowmein and kung pao fish. The items were all so delicious that I am salivating while writing this review. The first mouthful of chowmein made me go wow, that I also ordered a parcel. Each and every bite had good portions of egg, chicken and prawn. The kung pao fish was too delicious with crunchy peanuts. The fish was so fresh. We ordered half plates of the chicken and fish and it had 6 largish pieces each. The restaurant also has gated parking which is a plus. We loved the restaurant. We loved the food. We loved the experience. Thank you China Pearl.

I went to china pearl restaurant for lunch today. The mix thai soup here is very good. I had the chilli garlic papper chicken as a starter which was very nice .my main course was mix hakka chow and kungpao chicken which was very nice . I request those who like chines food please visit china pearl restaurant china town kolkata.the staff helped me .the environment is also very good.

China Pearl is highly recommended for all diners , parking is available for cars and bike where you can drive in and park conveniently. The food is excellent so is the service . Drinks is very reasonably PRICE when compare to others restaurant in China Town. Will Definitely visit again.

The food is really very tasty in this restaurant the staffs are very polite and the service is very awesome they also have a good parking facility a very family friendly restaurant in Tangra China town must visit

The food was excellent , in terms of quantity and quality ,. service was excellent , the ambience was pretty modern. One of the best in China Town, highly recommended. Please visit.

Recently visited this place, located on the heart of China Town, Tangra, Kolkata. It is very easy to locate, located just on main road. Have spacious sitting area with large beautiful windows. From their menu, had tried- Fresh lime soda- Rs.70 Lung fung soup(small)- Rs.245 Szechwan fried prawn(half)- Rs.400 Veg mei foon- Rs.225 Dragon fish(half)- Rs.275 Each items were delicious and the whole spread can easily be shared among three people, yes they gave such great portions.

A good pocket friendly restaurant in chaina town..this is 3rd time i visit here..located on just beside of bigg boss.. ambiance is quite good over there..food quality and quantity were good enough..all over a nice place for hang out with friends or family..

This is probably the worst restaurant in China Town tried by me so far. It was so unfortunate that we choose this place to go on Puja day and they completely ruined the evening. There was a very short waiting and we were able to enter within few minutes only. After entering we found ambiance is not that special, we sat upstairs. Soup: Chicken Sweetcorn Soup @ Rs.245 (2/5) ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Very basic, just felt like soup of cornstarch. Very few and very small chunks of chicken and corn, shouldn't have ordered this item. Starter: Drumstick @ Rs.475 (2/5) Chilli Garlic Pepper Fish @ Rs.495 (3.5/5) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Drumsticks were quite ordinary, just fried chicken lollipops, tasted nothing great. Two sauces to dip it but that didn't enhance the taste. 12 pcs in a plate. Chilli Garlic Pepper Fish was fresh & tasted quite good. Although it was just fried fish pieces tossed in green chilli. 12 pcs in a plate but evey piece wasn't of same size. Mains: Chilli Chicken @ Rs.475 (1/5) Hot Garlic Chicken @ Rs.475 (2/5) ---------------------------------------------------------------- One of the worst chilli chicken tried by me so far, even boiled chicken tastes better than this. 15 pcs a plate but the pieces were really small. Gravy felt corn starch soup with bit of soya sauce mixed, didn't found any capsicum just few thin slice of onions. Hot garlic tasted similar just the colour was different. Veg Fried Rice @ Rs.275 (1/5) Chicken Fried Rice @ Rs.305 (1/5) ---------------------------------------------------------------- Portion of rice per plate for the price of Rs.305+gst was really really low. Very few chopped vegetables, very low punch of black pepper, adequate chicken chunks, it tasted just like steam rice. You hardly can share it with 2 people. There are many good restaurants in china town and they might be bit expensive than China Pearl but they're worth it. Even any cheap street food counter serves better quality of food than them, either choose street or go to any better place but don't choose them. Complete wastage of money, never ever going back to them.

First teach your waiters some manners. Even after giving Rs 200 as tips, they keep asking for more and more tips. Since on the whole floor there were three waiters, they were asking for Rs 500 extra as tips. Food was really good but never gonna visit again for such bad services. 👎 Not recommended
