This is a new place in New Town. We ordered Chicken burger, tenderloin and Lebanese platter. Food was good, service was excellent. Tenderloin is really well made. The Chef Shunankar is super and came to visit us. F&B Manager Surajit and steward Shyamal looked after us well. Will come back again with friends.

This is a new place in the town. Always liked the vibrant bright colors of Citrus Cafe in any Lemon Tree. The staff were very courteous. We ordered a portion of fish fry golden fried prawns and they were as good as any good restaurants in the town. Loved the ambience the decor. Wish to come.back again.

#gluttonyreviews #lemontreepremiernewtownkolkata Lemon Tree Premier Kolkata Stayed here from Sept 1 to Sept 4, 2025. Room No 707. A three-star property with all the frills associated with it. Location: Situated in New Town, right opposite Axis Mall. Handy for airport access, but if you're heading into the heart of Kolkata, brace yourself for the Maa Flyover traffic – a real patience-tester. Rooms: The Deluxe Room is slightly smaller. And if you're facing the glass-and-stone skyscraper next door, you'll likely be keeping the curtains drawn 24/7. Not ideal for natural light lovers. Aqua Area: Thoughtfully designed and well-lit. The bathing space is a fully enclosed unit, so no soggy bathroom floors — a small detail that makes a big difference. Pool: Not quite rooftop, not quite ground-level — it sits on a mezzanine floor, offering a unique semi-elevated view. The water is an inviting emerald green, and you can spot the Holiday Inn from your swim. Open from 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM, perfect for business travellers looking to unwind after work. Breakfast: A solid spread with both premium and regional options. Whether you're craving something continental or want to start your day the Bengali way, you're covered. Verdict: Good to go. A dependable mid-range option in New Town for corporate travellers and short-stay guests.

Went to this place 2 months ago on a Sunday evening for dinner. The place completely empty and we two were the only customers. The staff is not trained enough to answer queries about the dishes while ordering and he had to go twice to ask the head out there. When it comes to food we ordered chicken tandoori, kadhai murgh and garlic naan. The taste was ok but not as expected.

Ok to start when u go for an international chain like lemon tree group u always put a higher expectation and certainly that didn't fulfill at all when i went there last sunday that is on 7th of March. I had booked a table for breakfast buffet and the cost was 778/- each. But when i went there i was totally disappointed. now giving the fulll menu that they had- fruit juice (only 1 variety i.e. watermelon) 2 variety of fresh cut fruits (1 of them is papaya) corn flex bread toast puri sabzi (now coming to the puri it was so oily that u cant think of it as the 1st meal of ur day) alu paratha( i cant tear it off it was so hard) uttapam and sambar (good enough) dhosa(good) omletts(good) now there is hardly any non veg variations they had other than omlette. i dont know why so muchh of inclination for vegetarian food only and if it is so they should have informed us previously. NO DESERT (utterly shocked) when we asked the floor manager he arranged sausages for us and a kaju firni. i appreciate that. but there are many people who wont ask like i did but still have to pay 778 for these menu. lastly when we asked for tea without sugar they made us sit for like half an hour but the tea didn't arrive and we left after paying the bill.. highly disappointed. never gonna go there ever.

Had gone there for a special occasion on 07 March. Food was bad, quality of mutton poor, the peas pulao was undercooked, items in menu but many unavailable. Very poor standard for a reputed brand like Lemon Tree. Wrote a complaint, someone called up a couple of days later, promised to compensate us gor the poor experience but then no response. These kind of cheap tactics not expected from a brand . Totally disappointed.

What's bad:- 1. At a premium place like this, you expect a better pasta arrabiata and a more sumptuous vegetable manchurian. However, both items were very average, and the best part was the garlic bread that came with the pasta. 2. The ambience remains unknown to us, because we were made to sit beside a pool. They are supposedly keeping the restaurant closed, yet receiving guest circumventing certain issues. While we were seated, it started raining and we had to shift indoors again, which was extremely stuffy. 3. They charge service charge without letting their customers know about their right to have it waived- something that doesn't conform the law. They charge cgst, sgst, service charge and again separate cgst and sgst on the service itself!!! This is completely unheard of, and I have uploaded the bill for you all to see. What's good:- Almost nothing was up to our expectation.
