I recently savored the Mutton Kabiraji from this gem of an eatery, reminiscent of the classic Kolkata cabin style restaurants. The ambiance exuded old-school charm, transporting me to the heart of the city's culinary culture. What truly impressed me was the accommodating staff who graciously allowed me to pay online, despite their usual cash-only policy. Their hospitality added to the overall delightful experience. As for the food, it was nothing short of spectacular. The mutton Kabiraji was impeccably prepared, with a perfect balance of flavors and freshness. Notably, it wasn't overly oily, which is often a concern with fried dishes, showcasing the chef's mastery in culinary finesse. In summary, if you're craving authentic Kolkata flavors served with warmth and hospitality, look no further than this establishment.

One of the legendary cabins of Kolkata. Visited on a Saturday afternoon with a friend to have lunch. Tried their famous Fish Kabiraji. A wholesome dish with quite a thick layer of fish fillet in it. (quite rare in other kabiraji or cutlets in this dire financial situation of our times) We also tried their Mixed Fried rice and Chilly Chicken. Those were tasty and filling. An economic place to have lunch/dinner and get a feel of antiquity.

One of the best cafe cum restaurant in College Street. I am visiting this place since childhood as I am a localite. Thier fish Kabiraji is just outstanding. Do try thier braised cutlet, mutton cutlet, egg devil and fish fry. Staffs are very polite.

One of the legendary outlets in the heart of college street. I have visited Dilkhusa in every phase of life, from college to post graduation and from Phd to now and witnessed its wish to accept the inevitable changes for the last 20 years. Some of its iconic foods have THE same taste. Like, the fish kabiraji remains the same in size and taste. The chicken fried rice is still unbelievably awesome with its unparallel price. The one thing that I miss is their moglai which they have discontinued.

Well , what more to say about this place? Renowned old eatery that is been appreciated by numerous people since ages. Made numerous visit(will keep visiting 😀)to have their kabiraji and cutlet. They taste equally delicious every time. Someone who is willing to explore Kolkata's old eateries or some authentication bengali dishes must be in there place at least once. p.s. They accept cash only. Online transaction facility is not there.

Quantity and Quality somehow justified the price (would be great if the prices were 10-15 rupees lesser). Nothing to say much. Kabiraji was huge in size, taste was Cool✌️. Service was good.

Possibly the worst chicken kabiraji i have ever had. Hardly any meat was present. The preparation seemed stale and no seasoning.
