A value for money option for authentic Chinese and some amazing pork preparations. I really loved their Cantonese / white gravy chowmein and pork ribs. The portion was sumptuous yet flavourful. It is not very crowded, and the seating is comfy considering an eating house!

🟣 When the Chinese community first settled in Calcutta, they kept up their cuisine in the new land. They prepared everything at their homes in Old Chinatown, right from hand-drawing noodles to creating sauces from scratch, because these ingredients were not available in the local markets. Gradually, few entrepreneurs began setting up eateries in Old Chinatown for all those who migrated to the new land, they set up their eateries inside their homes. Tiretta Bazar, a very well known place for its Chinese breakfast, also has eateries who have been in existence for a long time, one such is D'Ley. This is the third generation who has taken up responsibility to run this eatery. Started before India got independence, the current owner's grandfather was at the inception of this. Ordered from their menu : 🔴 Chicken Yam Wontons (10pcs) - Rs. 140 🔴 Chili Pork (shredded) - Rs. 200 🔴 Pork Fried Rice - Rs. 160 🔴 Pork Yam Mein - Rs. 160 🔴 Pork Ham Choi - Rs. 200 🔴 Garlic Fish (8pcs) - Rs. 240 🟢 The easiest route is to take an exit from Central Metro Station (Gate No. 5) and take a right, keep walking straight till you find Sing Cheung's retail outlet on your left, just opposite to that D'Ley is situated. 🟢 A 20 seater restaurant. 🟢 One of the good things about this eatery is that they are handing out menu cards which are xeroxed beforehand, so to avoid the risk of contamination during this pandemic. 🟢 A wide variety of pork items to select from. 🟢 Not just pork, they have huge range in Chicken and Prawns too. 🟢 A very pocket friendly restaurant, a wise choice for the college goers. 🟢 The updated menu with the current prices and quantities are attached in the photos. 🟢 Very quick and efficient service. 🟢 I loved the Fried Rice and Yam Mein because the ingredients were very fresh and it was cooked really well, one of the plus points of both these dishes were the quantity of pork and the meat fat ratio was almost 9:1. But, the rest of the items were not upto the mark. The taste was a bit of a let down for me. I don't know whether it happened that day or not, or the quality has diminished, if anyone had similar experiences, please let me know. 🟢 The quantity of every dish is huge, it is enough for 2-3 people, depending upon the appetite. 🟢 Accepts cash and online payments. 🟢 Available for ordering in food aggregator apps.

If you are looking for a fantastic dining experience, then look no further than D'ley! I recently visited this small restaurant and tried their mixed Hakka chowmein and Shanghai fish, and both dishes were absolutely delicious. The food was prepared expertly and tasted amazing. The atmosphere at D'ley is cozy and calm, which creates a welcoming and relaxing environment. The service was excellent, with friendly and attentive staff who made us feel valued and taken care of. Overall, I highly recommend D'ley to anyone who wants to enjoy some quality food in a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. If you are in the area, this small restaurant is definitely worth a visit. I will definitely be back soon!

This place is just 3 mins of walking distance from Central metro gate no 5. Now coming to the food, it was absolutely tasty with price, quality and quantity. Don’t go by the ambience, it’s very simple. Must try - Roasted Chilli Pork Dry. Also we ordered, crispy Wonton pork & Egg chicken noodles. All items were very tasty.

D'Ley Chinese Eating House is located at the famous Tiretta Bazar area close to Poddar Court and Central Metro Station (Gate No. - 5/6) A Small Non-AC Roadside Restaurant with Limited Seating Area Inside The Ground Floor, They Literally Don't Have Any Proper Washbasin / Washroom as Compared To Other Restaurants. Hoping To Enjoy Classic Chinese Dinner, We Went There Yesterday And Ordered From Their Quite an Optionable Menu We Had Steamed & Fried Wontons, Noodles, Rice & Main Course But To Be Very Honest, Was Not at All Satisfied With Their Quality. May Be Once They Were Better But Now, Their Food Quality Have Gone Down Badly. The Chilli Pork as well Few Other Items Were Not Properly Balanced With Spices And Was on The Saltier Side. Only The Wontons Were Perfect. Their Prices Are Moderate But Quality is Not Upto The Mark Overall, Disappointed From One of The Best Chinese Eateries Which Had Surely Gone Bland in This Competition Era. Hope They Improve in Future !

I visited D'ley restaurant this evening. It is located near the Central Metro station. There are four tables with 12-14 seats. It serves chinese foods only. The ambience is not very good, just like some roadside joints. Their main attraction is the food. I had Chicken Steamed Momo, Chicken Hakka Noodles, Hunan Chicken. All the items were good in taste and very spicy. Their price seemed a bit high for me, compared to their service and ambience. Please note, they do not accept any cards or UPI payments, you need to have cash with you.

This small eatery serves good quality food at very reasonable price. Recently visited this place and tried their signature Chicken Wonton soup and I absolutely loved it. The quantity was great and the clear soup was very satisfying. This soup was loaded with wontons and they were equally delicious. This place is highly recommended.

​I visite recently with expectations for a good meal, but unfortunately, the experience did not meet them. ​I ordered the Hunan pork mixed fried rice and the chicken wonton soup. Regarding the pork, the texture was very chewy and the pieces were composed almost entirely of fat, which made it difficult to enjoy anything beyond the sauce. Furthermore, the mixed fried rice did not taste fresh, which was quite disappointing. The chicken wonton soup was also very bland and lacked the depth of flavor I was hoping for. ​I hope the kitchen takes this feedback into consideration to improve the quality and consistency of these dishes, as I see potential for a better dining experience.

Poor quality food delivered, akin to pure road side stuff. Gravy chicken Manchurian had some really stake and cheet balls in an extra spicy gravy that would kill your tastebuds. Real torture on the stomach
