2 days ago on 2nd April 2025 my Rashmi Singh aunty and my mom Mamta Saraf visited this restaurant Dunkel Braun, Southern Avenue for the first time ever. They had Veg Patties Puff and Corn Cheese Wrap and Chocolate Muffin. And my Rashmi Singh aunty bought some of these delicious 😋 snacks and she gave it to my mom and said take these for Aman Saraf he will definitely like it. So my mom bought it home as well. Thank you so much Rashmi Singh aunty and Mom and Dunkel Braun for making my day amazing 😍.

One of the largest Bakery Cafe Dunkel Braun offers lip-smacking food along with some amazing cookies, cheese cake, pastries, snacks & breads etc. We visited their Desopriyo Park outlet. They have a Cozy decor and the service was really very good. Some of my recommendations- 🔹Their Hot Coffees 🔸baked Mac n Chesse 🔹smoked DB special Sandwich 🔸Cheese Cakes ( They have different 3-4 Types) 🔹Pastries 🔸Baclava

When this restaurant first started serving Baklava, there was a lot of talk about it. I went there with some friends to taste it, but as soon as I walked inside, I couldn't help but indulge in the tantalising shakes and desserts along the Baklava.

I had a wonderful experience at this place. The food was excellent, especially the hot chocolate melt with vanilla icecream. I recommend you to visit this place with family and friends.

Located at the heart of Sarat Bose Road, Dunkel Braun would surely attract a lot of praise for its chic lighting and modern decor. Although not as spacious as the Salt Lake outlet, they do provide a seating arrangement of nearly 25 people. Inspite of being a vegetarian bakery, I did find it to be much more than that. You get a vast section of Baklavas, Nuts, Makhanas, Cookies, Brownies, Namkeens and what not. They even provide plush gifting options in the form of goodies and hampers. Coming to the food, we decided to stick to the bakery section and did not venture into the kitchen menu. We ordered some savouries in the Double Decker pizza and the Cotttage Cheese pizza, and paired them with Cold Coffee, Grape Cold Brew and Chocolate Cake Blend. The Cake Blend was rich in taste and gooey goodness. The cold coffee was aromatic, though slightly lacking the punch. The Grape Cold Brew was refreshing with a bittersweet aftertaste. From the dessert section, we tried their Tiramisu, Belgian Chocolate Pastry and Nutella Brownie. All three of them looked outstanding to the eyes, not so much to the tastebuds. The Tiramisu was disappointing, extremely bland. The Nutella Brownie was a tad stiff, but the presentation was unique. The Belgian Chocolate Pastry was the saving grace, but slightly too sweet, and we would've loved if it came hot, warm at least. Overall, the place is nice and cosy, the staff are helpful. They have an interesting collection of items and a wide assortment of desserts to try from. The food quality is also a notch better than some leading bakeries. Yet, we found it slightly overpriced in all aspects. And for that, I'd rate it a justified 3.5 and hope the kitchen menu does some wonders to improve the rating, on my next visit. P.S. Zomato Gold offers are not applicable on the counter items.

Few months back, dropped in at this outlet of Dunkel Braun. This outlet is located very near to Deshapriya Park, towards Nazrul Mancha. Though this is basically a confectionery shop, still they have some seating area and have a bit of cafe menu alongwith desserts and beverages. I had tried their apple pie and cold coffee. The apple pie was too good, soft, moist and flavourful. More than the coffee, I would recommend the desserts here.

The food of this cafe is good freshly made.. But the behaviour of the staffs flicker when you pay via Zomato .. I don’t know why they keep the facility of zomato payment when they are unhappy with the payment via Zomato.. The lady who was serving as suddenly became rude when i payed via zomato.. A customer didn’t deserve this kind of gesture.. Please don’t give discount option if you don’t want to give it to the people..

After booking a table through Zomato we were denied the 25% discount saying that the discount is only on hot items, even though there’s no mention of the same on Zomato or during booking

The menu was not at all similar to what's shown on Zomato. Almost all the items we chose weren't available on a Sunday, and they were almost forcing us to choose from what was available. Even so, five minutes after we ordered, we were informed that a couple of items from the remaining choices weren't available! After such a disappointing experience, we left, never to return. No surprise they had literally zero patrons on a Sunday!
