The spread was good but the food lacked the quality that one expects, specially when they have competitions next door from grand market at ITC Royal and JW Kitchen at Mariott. Actually why move that far, u have the best North Indian at Dum pukht and Peshawari, compared to them this buffet was quite regular and nothing extraordinaire…… so try to up the bar and best wishes

Surprising to note that the restaurant does not have the Breads listed in the menu as it is a very common food ite. so they say. The people serving does not necessarily know what is the ingredients used in the dish.The pricing in the menu was not correct in the menu and hence the bill presented to us had a different item billed and we are supposed to understand the same. In short the restaurant did not at all live upto the hypeand in short to some extent ruined our Anniversary lunch. Expect a bit of professionalism towards the customer from a brand like ITC and such mistakes are really not expected.

When you visit ITC (one of the best in Kolkata), you obviously expect the best in class experience. However, our recent experience was not that great. 1. Booked table via Zomato, however we were informed at the entrance that the restaurant has not received any booking. There were two of us with a kid and we were being told that they will provide us a table for two along with a baby chair. After two rounds of the hotel and one round of the washroom, when we again checked, the staffs forgot that they had to allot a table for us. After allotment, they could not provide us a baby chair and finally we had to request for shifting our table. 2. Not much but a few mosquitoes were also enjoying the dinner with us 😁 Some of them started biting us but we ignored. 3. About food, the starters were often getting over and the staffs took a lot of time to refill the same. Biriyani was of good quality and that was available in plenty. 4. The spread wasn’t lavish to be honest and in main course there were hardly 7-10 items (plain and fried rice, daal, vegetable curries, fish and chicken), which are typical Indian cuisine. Dessert items were over for a long time and the staffs didn’t refill it. 5. Service quality was not at all at the level of a five star (and reputed hotel in the city)- water bottle refill took 15 minutes, bill took 20-25 mins to come, cleaning plate took 15-20 mins. Overall not a great experience, it was 2200 bucks for each person, but better food and ambience (at lower than this price) is provided by multiple restaurants of Kolkata.

This one star is also grace. Absolutely the worst experience ever for a buffet. It was my husband's birthday and we booked with the expectation of having their bengali buffet. While booking it was nowhere mentioned that it is only available on Saturday. Even after accepting that we thought to enjoy whatever was available. But the food was horribly tasteless and about options?! well we cook more varieties of dishes at home. 1-2 options each for starter, main course and desserts . Food quality was also horrible. All chicken and fish items were smelly as rotten. Never ever had this level of disappointment. Additionally, the staffs lack courtesy. When we started eating as per our booking time, they just gave us 20-30 mins and then tole buffet will be closed. they removed spoons from the dishes displayed. I am Speechless! cannot describe more!

Food & service was extremely underwhelming. The staff members were hardly present. In buffet food was always unavailable & not refilled on time. Plates & bowls not available. Completely mismanagement. Complete waste of money. Will never visit again.

Overall not a good experience, food quality is not up to the mark, undercooked food, served cold food. Non availability of staffs, service was very bad.
