I took my parents and my brother to Eden buffet as it was my brother's birthday. I must say it was a very good experience. some of the foods were not to our liking but i suppose not all food would be good for everyone. The dessert section was really great. I loved how moist and soft they were. I can't say I have any real complaints about food except the octopus being absolutely salt-spice-less. the service was absolutely great. Everyone was so nice and attentive, it genuinely elevated the experience by a lot. I wish there were more mocktail options. That's about it. At the end we all had a really really nice time. Had a good day. Hoping to do this soon. For people wondering about the price, the bill for 4 people buffet came just under ₹8500.

Went there for lunch buffet on weekdays. We got a 30% discount via District(Zomato) app which was confirmed by the management beforehand. However at the restaurant entrance, the staff informed that the discount has been discontinued. We showed them the confirmation, post which they agreed with the offer after an internal discussion(which should have been done beforehand). Coming to the food, the buffet was a lavish spread of a large variety of items and the taste was superb. The hospitability of the staff inside was excellent and catered to our every needs. The desert section could have had a better variety of items but still okay. Overall a great experience.

When you visit ITC (one of the best in Kolkata), you obviously expect the best in class experience. However, our recent experience was not that great. 1. Booked table via Zomato, however we were informed at the entrance that the restaurant has not received any booking. There were two of us with a kid and we were being told that they will provide us a table for two along with a baby chair. After two rounds of the hotel and one round of the washroom, when we again checked, the staffs forgot that they had to allot a table for us. After allotment, they could not provide us a baby chair and finally we had to request for shifting our table. 2. Not much but a few mosquitoes were also enjoying the dinner with us 😁 Some of them started biting us but we ignored. 3. About food, the starters were often getting over and the staffs took a lot of time to refill the same. Biriyani was of good quality and that was available in plenty. 4. The spread wasn’t lavish to be honest and in main course there were hardly 7-10 items (plain and fried rice, daal, vegetable curries, fish and chicken), which are typical Indian cuisine. Dessert items were over for a long time and the staffs didn’t refill it. 5. Service quality was not at all at the level of a five star (and reputed hotel in the city)- water bottle refill took 15 minutes, bill took 20-25 mins to come, cleaning plate took 15-20 mins. Overall not a great experience, it was 2200 bucks for each person, but better food and ambience (at lower than this price) is provided by multiple restaurants of Kolkata.

Pathetic experience here…we went at 1am after confirming they were open 24/7 and were serving desserts. We were absolutely disappointed when there were hardly any desserts other than rasmalai and plain ice cream…why say 24/7 when your options are limited ??!! Five star…a joke LOL…ITC do better probably a Kolkata problem too.

I went to celebrate my wife's birthday at ITC Sonar, and it turned out to be the worst nightmare. Pathetic taste, Untrained staff, Poor buffet spread, unhygienic and non lively atmosphere. This is a genuine suggestion to avoid it for family dining.
