Had taken a few of my Muslim friends for Sehri at Elahi Restaurant recently, and the experience was quite a mixed one. On the positive side, the place had a very lively Sehri vibe and the fruit platters were fresh with a decent variety. The milkshakes were also good in taste and served chilled — perfect for a pre-fasting meal. The seating was comfortable and the service staff were polite despite the late-night rush. However, we felt that the fried snack items were a bit too oily and lacked crispness. Also, the waiting time was slightly longer than expected, probably due to the heavy Sehri crowd. A little more attention to food quality during peak hours would definitely enhance the overall experience. Overall, it was an average visit — good ambience and beverages, but food consistency can be improved.

We had planned to spend an evening with friends but this restaurant completely ruined the experience. We booked a table for eight people through Zomato and even paid a cover charge of ₹250 in advance but when we arrived, the staff told us that they do not accept Zomato bookings and that we would have to pay in cash again without any offers. When we asked about the cover charge we had already paid, they initially said they were not responsible and that we would not get it back. Only after a lot of questioning and argument did they finally said that we can pay through Zomato. The service was extremely slow. People who arrived after us were served before us, while we kept waiting for our food. Even one hour after Azan, our food had still not arrived. If you cannot manage the crowd, you should not accept so many bookings and orders. The food quality was equally disappointing. It was excessively oily, and the spring rolls had a strong mutton smell that made them almost inedible. It was a terrible experience with poor management, slow service, and very bad food. We would never recommend this place to anyone.

Very disappointing experience at Ilahi. Despite being a luxury dining restaurant promoting by many food bloggers ( I am sure all these are paid promotion and not a true review ) , the food quality was horrible and taste was pathetic, and absolutely not worth the price. It felt like a complete waste of money. Expectations were high, but the experience was extremely poor. NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL
