⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We visited Elgin Roastery, Golf Green today to celebrate my parents' wedding anniversary in advance, and it turned out to be a wonderful experience. The food was absolutely outstanding. The Coffee Rubbed Smoked Mutton was exceptional and unlike anything we've had before, and the Cashew & Lemon Grilled Fish was simply delicious. Every dish was beautifully prepared and full of flavour. The service was warm, courteous, and highly professional. Everyone was polite and welcoming, making us feel comfortable throughout our visit. A special mention to the owner for his humble and gracious hospitality—it truly made our celebration even more memorable. The ambience is elegant, peaceful, and perfect for spending quality time with family. Finally, heartfelt appreciation to Chef Mr. Suresh Halder for creating such amazing dishes, especially the unforgettable Coffee Rubbed Smoked Mutton. Everything was good but make sure the cheese is molten in cheese balls, it was totally solid like pizza cheese inside... make sure it melts in mouth....

The cafe was done up tastefully, making bet use of the space possible. The food was good, but the drinks were better. We didn't get a chance to try the desserts, so maybe next time.

We wanted to try out this roastery closer to home, but was left extremely disappointed to say the least. Had to wait more than 60 minutes to get just two cups of coffee (cold brewed). The restaurant was almost empty when we dropped in, but the service was perhaps the worst we had experienced in a long time. The coffees tasted pretty fine, but sadly we will not be re-visiting given the innumerable other options nearby with far better services.

The food is severely overpriced for the quality offered. The coffee was subpar, and the dishes were downright disappointing. We ordered the fish and chips, and both the taste and portion size were abysmal. The fish had an unpleasant odour, the fries were burnt, and everything was coated in an excessively thick, besan-like batter. Overall, a thoroughly unsatisfactory experience. I will certainly not be returning.

I wanted to try this cafe, however was left disappointed. Cold coffee tasted bland like water, stroganoff was anything but stroganoff with olives in them and the free dessert - ice cream was pathetic! Wonder how are they surviving in this competitive market with a big cafe right beside them. Wasted both my money and time, even the seats were uncomfortable and high.

The food initially looked good, but turned out to be uncooked in places. When confronted about the Bhetki, no one seemed to bother about an apology. They were insistent on giving a replacement, but the mood for the evening was already spoiled by then.
