The service is quite slow, the food is amazing. The staffs are friendly. We ordered Chicken Sweet Corn Soup, Mixed(Chicken and Prawn)Hakka Noodles, Mixed (Chicken and Prawn) Hakka Rice, King Pao Chicken and Chilli Garlic Pepper Chicken.

Few days ago we went to this place for dinner, this place is a Chinese branch of the famous restaurant Bar-B-Q, both the restaurant situated at Park Street. The place is quite big with two floor seating area. They have dim lights that makes the place a cozy one. We ordered Konjee Crispy Lamb, Sliced Pork Tobanjan Sauce, Singapore Chicken Noodles and Haka Rice noodles. The food is so scrumptious, every bit of it is so good. Loved the Singapore noodles. Will definitely visit this place again.

Service was very slow.They took nearly an hr.to serve after the order was given.Veg Thai curry was bought instead of chicken Thai curry and the food waaaas coooold.

Nothing is upto the mark apart from the ambience. I ordered chicken pan fried noodles where they have put stinky mushrooms unnecessarily and the chicken chunks were mix of fresh and rotten. The devil chicken was also below average. Only the pan fried chilli tofu was good👍 The staff behaviour also is very rude. They are not open for feedback👎👎👎👎👎

My review is purely about the service and not the food! Food is great which is why we decided to make a quick dash to this place for the short layover that we had in Kolkata. The restaurant shows its opening time as 12 noon. At 12 noon when we reached the manager very rudely asked us to leave as it would take 30 mins more for them to open. I am perfectly OK with being told they would take time but the tone and attitude with which the staff spoke was unacceptable. We went to Tung Fong thereafter and there was a stark difference in the way the staff there spoke to us. I guess that is the difference between a classic and a basic restaurant.

We ordered soup (Tom Yum) and it was too sour for our liking. So we asked them to pack the soup and they misunderstood the information and disposed the soup and then added it to our bill. We asked them to take it off our bill because we asked them to pack it but they said they don’t pack soup which has been consumed. After a pushback from us, they offered to make it again. General standard of food is disappointing with smaller portions, too much oil and a huge piece of galangal in the soup. They need to do better in terms of food quality, quantity and service.

Pathetic service They boldly claim restaurant is open from 12-1130 pm but kitchen remains closed in the after according to their whims and fancies. They force you to order from Indian section which also serves some Chinese dishes. On top of it when asked, staffs and management blame each other regarding unavailability. These monopolistic mentality restaurants feel that they can hassle and harass customers in any which way they like. Icing on cake : they give you menu of flavours but ask you to order from BarBQ..hilarious

I am a regular here because of the essence however the guy markson at the main reception is very rude to the guests. Absolutely mean and doesn't know how to treat people with courtesy.
