Date: 25th Jan, 2025 Occasion: casual visit to Park Street Area. Felt like eating authentic Chinese Food after a Long time! Food was good, so the service and ambience. Service was very quick. Staff was friendly and courteous. Pricing was good, according to what was served on the menu. Will definitely try again if I visit Park Street. A must visit restaurant.

the 3.7 rating is a crime cuz this place is criminally underrated. it makes me want to explore the serene depths of the Chinese river yuangzhau for it could be the source of the godlike chutney that they serve for free. it was life changingly delectable. they forgot our omlette order but overall minimum 4.7

Okay so stumbled upon this place by a happy accident, and it was perfect. Quiet, unassuming, authentic and the food SLAPPED. Is gonna be a staple for sure.

Golden Dragon is a small, cozy Chinese eatery tucked into the bustling Park Street area. With over 60 years of history, it doesn’t try to compete with the posh, modern dining experiences nearby—and honestly, that’s part of its charm. It offers a nostalgic, no-frills atmosphere that stands out in a locality filled with upscale options. Chilli Roast Pork – Rs 295 (4/5): The portion was a bit small, but refreshingly, the plate wasn’t overloaded with capsicum, carrots, or onions—just lean slices of pork (no fat), a few onions, and chopped green chillies. Simple and fairly tasty. Golden Dragon Special Chow Mein – Rs 280 (3/5): This gravy chow mein is unique in that the chicken and prawns are coated in a batter, similar to what's used in dishes like Chilli Chicken. While this gives the dish a fuller appearance with chunky pieces, it doesn’t really add to the flavor. Overall, it was average in taste. While the food didn’t leave a strong impression, it’s definitely more affordable than places like Tung Fong. I might return to try a few other dishes—hopefully, they’ll stand out more.

Definitely recommend the cantonese noodles- huge portions and subtle flavour. Wouldn't recommend ordering the chicken drumsticks

Its unfortunate we do not have a negative star option here. Would have given. Absolutely everything about this restaurant needs to be improved or shut down. Went during Durga Puja 25 and found cockroaches in our Cantonese Noodles. Found hair in a starter. When asked their answer was it happens during rush hours. Horrific to say the least.

Today we are very disappointed We ordered a chicken drum stick but most of the pieces have a rotten smell , they change it but all are the same smell. The person who took the order had not faced us the other boy told us maybe it was not fried properly. we canceled the other order payment the bill and left the restaurant.
