One of the best place for kebabs and biriyani but my favorite item of this place was Methi Malai Murgh, this item was the most unique and delicious dish I ever tried in my life ♥️, just love it. Haji Ali was one of the best place for their biriyani in Kolkata and they are really good. I tried their many items many times and loved all of them and wanna try others also. Now come to the taste of the foods that I tried- ||Haji Ali special Cheese Malai Kebab||- This one cost INR 290 but I got it only Rs.234 ordering through swiggy and got 30% off. The kebabs were so soft and tasted really good, more like resmi kebab but had a cheesy flavor and it contains 6 pieces of extra soft juicy chicken. The kebabs covered with malai and it served with salad and green chutney. You should try this item. #Recommended. ||Mutton Biriyani||- As usual the biriyani tasted great and at first expression the quantity was quite good. It's cost INR 210 and an extra egg adding cost me Rs.10 but I actually get the biriyani within Rs.162 by ordering through swiggy. The biriyani had one succulent Mutton piece along with one big potato. The biriyani had a nice flavor and it's not so oily. The Mutton was so soft and perfectly cooked as well as the potato.You definitely try this biriyani if you're a biriyani freak like me. ||Methi Malai Murgh||- This one is the most unique dish I ever tried not only bcz it's name one an only for the taste. It contains 6 extra soft,buttery smooth, juicy chicken pieces and it's cost INR 290. The dish is so rich and had a mind catching aroma. The gravy was thick and a perfect companion with tandoori roti or butter nun. You must try that item once and you sure want to try it more and more. Every bite of the chicken with gravy feels heavenly😍. #Recommended. ||Tandoori Roti||- Tandoori roti cost INR 20 and it was soft and had a nice flavor with the Methi malai Murgh. Haji Ali is really doing great with biriyani . I personally lived there biriyani and firni, it was flavourful and very moist to chew . I love the mild slices of the BIRYANI and the portion .

They serve good food at a reasonable price. Love the North Indian part of their menu. Chinese part is average. Service is good. The ambience can accommodate 20 people maximum.

This outlet of Haji Ali can be easily located on Metropolitan Bypass Ajoy Nagar. They've a small dining upstairs and a big counter on road. By ditching Shiraj and Alibaba we went there for dinner. Plain Naan @ Rs.50 (2.5/5) Rashili Tangri Murgh @ Rs.195 (2.5/5) ------------------------------------------------------------------- This dish was recommended by the waiter. Two chicken tangri kebab cooked in tikka butter masala type gravy, topped with coriander leaves. Tangri pieces were good but the gravy was little to tangy than my liking. Portion size was okay, Naan was below average. Haji Ali can't be said as really cheap option, considering the quality they serve plus basic ambiance with no washroom in dining, after adding gst its pricy for its class. Not really recommanded for second time visit.

Size of the piece in biryani was very small and on complaining the same to the waiter did get any response. Also in zomato it shows that some walk in offer is applicable but the restaurant denied when I asked for payment via zomato. Very disappointed with the whole service.

I ordered mutton biryani from Haji Ali, and it was a complete disappointment. The mutton piece was of extremely poor quality—bony, with suspicious whitish marks, and rubbery. The potato included was burnt and of substandard quality. The rice was tasteless, and the overall dish lacked freshness and flavor. It was not worth the price at all, and I ended up discarding most of it due to hygiene concerns. Highly unsatisfactory experience. Avoid this place if you value your money and health.

Had ordered a special Mutton Biryani and I have to say, that the quantity of rice and the meat was not sufficient for two people. They certainly need to improve the taste of the biryani, which basically tasted like pulao... certainly not up to the mark as compared to the price they charge.

They don't accept district payment, the 10% off is not valid. You have to pay only via their scanner. Also not at all customer friendly.
