British architecture inter-twined with modern day cafe culture is Hogg's Room. Located on the 1st floor of Hotel Lindsay in the heart of City, is a pretty reasonable cafe with good food and beautiful ambience. Checkered floors, wrought iron chairs, circular glass top tables, old calcutta black & white pictures, wooden stairs, wall painting of old house doors gives you a nostalgic feel. This was the first time I was visiting this cafe and had a pleasant experience. ✓Peach ice tea- Lovely refreshing ice tea. The best part is they are using fresh tea and peach juice which you will definitely love more than the ice tea you get in other cafes. ✓Mocha iced coffee- The iced coffee was good and i like how the mocha shot is at the bottom and we need to mix it and then drink it. Also it's not watery with chunks of ice only! ✓Strawberry & kiwi smoothie- The thick shake is citrusy and sweet coming from kiwi and strawberry. You can specify if you don't want added sugar then the sweetness will be lesser. The fact remains that one glass of this smoothie is enough for your lunch. It is creamy and filling. ✓Frappe iced coffee- The iced coffee was similar to the mocha one and tasted equally good. Not too heavy, but a coffee lovers drink! ✓Fish & chips- It was more of fish fry than the fish & chips the you would think of, served with French fries. This was good but if you are making it fish & chips, one should serve the battered fry instead of the bread crumbed fry. ✓Crispy fried chicken- Similar to the fish, this was chicken fry served with French fries. The service is a little slow but the food is fresh and needs a little improvement. The drinks were good and they are also serving liquor which was surprising. It has a royal ambience coz of the decor. The lights are fitted into big mason jars. The staff is courteous and friendly and is also up to get a feedback. I recommend this place! Location: Opposite to simpark mall,at the 1st floor of hotel lindsay. We had 🔶 Chicken roasted pizza 🔶Orea shake I would better suggest this one over the other shakes...good for those having sweet teeth 🔶Kitkat shake For me it was mostly liquid for a shake...have tasted better kitkat shake I have gold so i got 2+2 on the shakes.. Overall it has a great ambience to chill out with friends when you are done with shopping.a recommended hangout place

There's this small vintage themed cafe hidden in the busy streets of esplanade....Hogg's room...the inner decor and theme is mesmerizing ....coming to food...we had a few number of mouthwatering dishes.... 1. Fish cake...165 rs. 2. Chicken dimsum...125 rs. 3. Monster nachos...85 rs. 4. Tiramisu...105 rs. The tiramisu was extremely beautiful in presentation...and tasted as if it was melting in our mouths...but when we moved to the drinks section...we decided to try the bar menu....we ordered a low alcoholic beverage...we wanted to have breezer but they said they didn't have that one stock became empty so we decided to have an electra alcoholic...195 rs ..which was i guess a bit higher on the price side taking in account of the quantity and quality of the drink...when we were having the drink...we noticed the price of the drink printed on the label on the back side of the bottle...which said..90 rs...we were stunned...freezing charges...preservation charges do are taken into account....but still this hike on the original price excluding the gst is something that must be look into seriously....for a 275 ml bottle of that substandard quantity of drink...this price is too high...please look into the matter asap...i am sending the snaps... We know there is a lot of taxes but double the cost doesn't sound good to me.

Reviews : ✔️The coffee was reinvigorating, though all of them tasted quite similar, yet it was delectable nonetheless. ✔️The Pepperoni Pizza was delicious, I felt in love with the cheese pull. The base was not too wet and the edges were also crispy. ✔️The Neptune Pizza had chicken, black olives and other toppings in it. It was a little bit spicy and had less cheese compared to the Pepperoni Pizza. ✔️The ambience was very spacious and vintage-inspired. The staffs were also very courteous. . . ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖ . . Nice Ambience... Friendly staff..perfect for couple frnds and family also.....food quite good and yumm bt less quantity...slow service... We ordered Shen-shah pizza (wow) Monstar chicken nachos (4/5) Hot choclate fudge (10/5) recommended Caramel custard (1/5)

It's situated in hogg's market area..love the ambiance...love the seating arrangements! The chicken cutlets and fries are truly lip smacking...in love with the foods.
