After almost 7 years, finally had my first dine-in with family. ✔️ Starter: Kebab – well cooked, balanced marination, good taste (portion slightly smaller than expected). ✔️ Chicken Bharta with Butter Naan – Must Try! Perfectly shredded chicken, balanced flavour, not oily, with a boiled egg add-on ❤️ ✔️ Special Mutton Biryani – One of the best in town. No excess oil, no overpowering essence. Jumbo aloo & egg inside made it special. Mutton flavourful (slightly softer pieces would make it perfect). 💰 Value for Money – ₹490 for biryani (quality + quantity better than many big Kolkata brands). 👨‍👩‍👦 Total bill for 3: ₹1125 (after 15% Zomato discount). 🎵 Ambience: Calm, decent, Punjabi music vibe. 🤝 Behaviour: Extremely humble manager & polite staff. 🧼 Hygiene: Clean & well maintained. Food was good, though service was slow. Staff was helpful but the slow service despite the low crowd was not good. They didn't have biryani (was stock out). They did not accept zomato/Swiggy with discount despite listing it which was the worst. Even the card machine wasn't working, glad we were carrying cash. Overall service and facility can improve, lighting can improve too.

As per Zomato the restaurant is open till 2 AM. however they are denying the same and have updated the new closing timings as 11 PM. They are not accepting booking from district app and also denying payment through zomato/district app. The responses of the receptionist was also not proper.

Food was not upto the mark..the pieces of mutton was very poor moreover they didn't serve biriyani as well which is their best selling item.

I called the restaurant for offline home delivery in Salt Lake today and a person named Mr Prosenjit Adhikary received the call. First he lied that the minimum amount of offline home delivery is 2000 Rs. When I told him that I regularly order from the restaurant and last time minimum amount of home delivery was 500 Rs he told me that he will call back later in my number. After few minutes he called back and told me that the rates of the items I was ordering has been updated and the total price for 2 plates Fish Irani Tikka and 1 plate chicken pahadi kebab will be around Rs 1313. This rate is even higher than what is being shown in zomato menu card. And the item price for home delivery from the restaurant is actually lower than the zomato prices and the restaurant dine in prices.The person was clearly trying to cheat me because he wanted to raise the amount of home delivery order. After that I cancelled the order and told him not to cheat the customers.He did not even apologize for trying to cheat me. I am a regular customer of honey da dhaba for about 13 years. This is the first time I am enduring such a disgusting experience.

Worst experience on 11th Dec 2024. Went with family and ordered Plain basmati rice, lasuni murg kebab, mixed vegetables and Mutton Roghan Josh. Mixed Vegetables and Mutton Rogan Josh was way too spicy that day. It almost burnt our mouth and intestine. Till next day we had inflammation in our stomach. This is the fifth time we visited this place and order the usual items.

pathetic service u need to wait 30mins so that they can clean the table then order come as soon as fast that u must feel sleepy 😃 the worst service u can't explain even and hospitality is soo much much bad never recommend place

Double check the restaurant owner or manager whether he accepts online payment via zomato or dineout before placing your order Even after booking via zomato,they simply refuse to accept the online payments via zomato

The Restaurant Initially refused direct payment via District, instead forced me to book a table and then make the payment. The harassment was Unwarranted.
