It is my favourite place. Actually I learnt to love chinese dishes from here only. But the branch was of Lake gardens sadly it's now closed. From childhood I used to visit that branch and I had many memories with my family. The love which I have for chinese food began from this place. I had missed that place so decided to visit here as this branch is really far away from my home. I have eaten mixed gravy noodles from many places but here not only noodles but also the fried rice and chilly chicken. It had a different smell , taste which I found lacking in other restaurants. It is a pure authentic chinese restaurant. I know this place is underrated because it has no cool ambience and the price is also costly but in terms of taste there is no comparison and compromise. Those who understand the taste and it's authenticity will only value this place. Some place shouldn't lost their charms and this is one of those place.

My go to restaurant since childhood.. perhaps one of the best chineese restaurant if not the best in the city. Mixed gravy noodles chilli chicken dry/gravy, dry chilly pork are some of their signature dishes.. you can try mixed fried rice garlic chicken hakka chowmin. Portion and quality both are perfect as per the price. Although the ambience is not so modern as compared to the other chineese restaurant nearby.. but the charm is the same just as 20 yrs back...

One of the best restaurants for Chinese Food. A very underrated place, with amazing Dimsums & Baos. The starters & maincourses are really good lipsmaking. Recommendations: 1. Chipotle Mushroom Dimsums 2. Teriyaki Chicken Bao 3. Shanghai Noodles 4. Conji Crispy Chicken

Have been enjoying food of Hong Kong for last 20 years and this restaurant serving the food with the consistent taste as I had tasted it for the first time. Just in love with this Restaurant for years.

This is a Legendary Restaurant..my experience of 20 years..!! Wherever you go..can't match the taste and nostalgic touch of this place..!!

Probably the oldest restaurant in kakurgachi area for authentic chinese cuisine. The ambience is not so much to fall for but that's what makes this place to remember, the food. They have varied and interesting chinese and Tibetan foods. One of them which I tried today was pork cutlets which is served with potato wedges and lemon. Cost is ₹185. It was enough of quantity for two. The cutlet was tasty and filling was pretty amazing. The only glitch is that all the foods are a bit high priced than usual.

Good food good portion . We order few things it's tasty not so oily and rich. Chicken soup is tasty lemon flavour comes. Fish finger fish quality is good ☺️. 8 pc fish finger is good portion. Dry chilli chicken is avarage. Chinese chopusoye is new for me but it's good actually. Chicken munchuriyan is good enough. portion is impressive. Staff behaviour is good. Big space . It's a very old Chinese restaurant.

I visited this renowned chinese eatery of yesterday years. I ordered a plate of chilli pork dry as per the suggestion of the server. One of the, if not the worst chilli pork I have tasted in Kolkata and I have been to many eateries serving prok in Kolkata be it at Tiretti Bazaar, Tangra or anywhere else. It was tossed in basic spices, soya sauce and surprisingly coated in cornflour which worsened it's taste even further. It cost an exorbitant Rs.410. Complete wastage of money.

Although, dry chili chicken was very good, but main course was horrible. Overpriced items. Fried-rice was not better than any street side rice, hot garlic fish was completely tasteless. So, if you are heading for proper meal - you will be disappointed! It you are going there for some chitchat and some side dish to intensify your conversation then please do visit !!
