This place needs no introduction and I really enjoyed my time here. From great cocktails to food- it's everything that one can look forward to enjoying a great time. The classic retro vintage vibe is spot on and I would love to go back again.

Tuhin was a good person to talk to and order to. Had a nice time with friends and Broadway made it happen.

went to this age old pub of Central kolkata for late lunch and some booze. as expected almost all seats were full being saturday afternoon. luckily we got a seat for two. draught beer is must when at Broadway. for starter we had beer batter fish and French fries. quality of fish and fries was quite good. in main course kung pao fish was again superb and chilli garlic fries was good in taste. price a bit on the higher side. we paid 2200 for two.

The drinks were good but the manager (the bald guy) don't know his name, but he's as easy to spot as a full moon, was rude and refused to replace drinks(beer) when it's not even opened, he said billing happened didn't like that, the owner was nice though.

Okay, so my partner and I went to Broadway, literally after getting influenced by Instagram reels calling it a "hidden gem" of Kolkata. Let me tell you the truth, it's far from being a gem, and it should stay hidden. 1. The first issue that we faced was the amount of flies (insect) there just swarmed the areas and the tables. It was absolutely unhygienic and disgusted me. Why is such an old restaurant in Kolkata not maintained properly to stop the flies? Nowadays an insect repellent machine is easily available. 2. Moving on, the behavior of one particular staff member, I couldn't get his name properly but he was a male staff member. He rudely behaved. We were 2 people and those who have visited there know how big the seating space is there. Today we visited the hotel around 2 pm, and a maximum of 30 people were there then. We had our bags and umbrellas, and no two-seater arrangements were available, as they were already occupied. So naturally we went for the 4-seaters. We requested to sit there face-to-face for the 'time being' and if some others come we'll shift and sit side by side to give them space. But he rudely said no we HAVE to sit side by side and we CANNOT sit face-to-face even for the 'time being'. He could have handled it in a calmer way, it disheartened us with such rude emphasis. 3. I went to the female washroom, it was spacious but a bad smell was coming. The commode was not clean at all. 4. The passage to the kitchen is dirty as hell, it's black with dirt and I don't know what, but they could at least renovate or freshly paint it. But keeping it that way does not look good, it looks disgusting and dirty. 5. The food was also ok-ok, but the quantity is good. A single bottle of beer was way too costly, one can order three bottles with the price they charge, alongside a bad ambience full of dirty walls and flies. Overall, the experience was not good.

Extremely disappointing experience at Broadway Restaurant, Kolkata. The service was painfully slow, with no sense of attentiveness from the staff. What really left a bad impression was how, at the end, the waiters insisted on a tip despite the poor service, and were rude when we declined. Hospitality should be about respect and good service sadly, both were missing here.

I am a fan and a regular customer (when ever I am in Kol) of this place however, the newly opened cafe part's manager is rude and unprofessional. I would give it a second thought before visiting the place going forward.
