Food, ambience was very good. Affordable prices and somebody who loves cozy dark dim light places somehow like cancel light dinner this place is for them. You will get a variety of options .

A very affordable and family friendly restaurant in Nagerbazar area. Love this place and the food they serve. If you want less oily but tasty food just go to this place.

Heard a lot about this. Coming to the food, its really tasty with good quality & quantity. We had ✅Chicken fried rice ✅Volcan chicken ✅sweet corn soup ✅chilli chicken. All items were good. Its was really worthy to visit.

The food was quite average and not up to the mark in terms of quality. We ordered Reshmi Kabab, which lacked taste, and Fish Fry — although the portion size was decent, the flavor was disappointing. Their in-house fried rice (Taaj Special) was served in a small quantity and was quite bland. We also tried the Hot Garlic Chilli Fish — while the gravy was good, the fish had a strange flavor. Our main issue was with the Masala Cold Drink, which was fizzless and lacked masala. When we complained, the staff member in charge rudely said, “What can I do?” and “I can't do anything regarding it.” He also falsely claimed that he had opened a new bottle, which was clearly not true. Overall, my experience was below average. They should have taken our complaints seriously, but honestly, they didn’t seem to care. As paying customers, we expect better service and food. Given this disappointing experience.

I am having food here since childhood. One very serious suggestion please stop giving DALDA in biryani! No other restaurant put dalda in their biryani to save costs! either put ghee but if you can't afford oil is fine. But don't kill customers with DALDA

I have been a regular at Taaj since 2006. Apart from a few misses, I have always had a good experience from Taaj. However, what I don't understand is their reluctance to get feedback. Here, in the pictures as you can see, I had ordered Chana Masala, which is supposed to be a "vegetarian" item and guess what I found? A piece of bone. When I called them to inform them about it, their simple lack of responsibility was really disappointing. I did not ask for a refund or a replacement, just a simple acknowledgement of this error would have been enough. I really had very high expectations from Hotel Taaj, and this experience was a very unpleasant one.

The portion of food/chicken served was way too less, also the taste was not upto the mark and gravy was flooded with oil.

Taj hotel's chicken biryani is so bad I didn't know before I ordered chicken biryani on 15th April 2024. When I open the biryani box, all the biryanis are fully wrapped, it doesn't seem like biryani. No taste, no smell, a bunch of bad biryani. I don't know if this is true or not - it seems that the uneaten biryani left on the plates of the people coming to eat at the restaurant are kept together for online delivery? I would say that one should not waste money by eating this rubbish biryani. The Biryani is delicious. The biryani of the small shop on the side of the road is much better than this.

I have purchased two chicken rolls from here and taken them home. when I opened the pack, there were two egg rolls. This is ridiculous. I have been cheated. worst service. I am requesting to all please check the food before leaving the counter.

Worst quality of food....unable to eat...i ordered dry chilli chicken..when I received saw it it was full with gravy They don't know how to cook food. Never going to order again. Waste of money and time
