Laid back heritage place. The atmosphere is full with a feel of old world Bengali intelligentsia. Possibility of seeing celebrity intellectuals. The fish fry and fish kobiraji are really good. The cold coffee might be given a miss. Very very budget friendly. A gem of a hole in the wall place.

Located jadavpur 8B bus stand, food at cheaper rate is available here, we have ordered chicken kabiraji, and cold coffee , food was very testy , nice place to hang out with friends

The ever-so-popular Indian Coffee House.The space, all high ceiling and old long fans, used to be a ballroom known as Albert Hall and spectators would watch dances from a balcony. This balcony now is a seating space at the café that is crowded even on a Monday afternoon. Many detest their strong cold coffee but I have always loved it. The colonial hangover still lingers here with a huge no-smoking board that remains largely ignored and bearers dressed in white achkans and pagdis.A heritage place for the youngsters of 90's. It holds a good position for its nostalgia among the Bengalis. We tried their coffee along with Chicken Cutlet,prices are cheap and affordable. It is located in Jadavpur 8B. Here you can get food at cheapest rate. Coffee House is specially about Friends, Coffee, Adda & Nostalgia. I really love this place for their cold coffee and Fish Kabiraji. These are must try. The place is always crowded and people have to wait for getting a seat. The place is a hot cake for the students as it is close to Jadavpur University. Other aged people also came over there to spend their time. To be honest this is not at all a place where hygiene is mainted and the behaviour of the stuffs are very rude. If you want beverage and snacks in cheapest rate you can once visit this place. Their College street outlet is better than it.

Coffee House is specifically about Friends, Adda, Tea/Coffee, Nostalgia. It is located in the heart of Jadavpur 8B. This place is mostly always crowded with college students of Jadavpur University and old retired aged people coming with friends for gossip, been here like a numerous times!! Few food items are particularly good like Chicken Kabiraji, Mutton Afghani, Fish Fry. It is served with onions and kasundi! They also serve Chinese items which taste average. Ambience is very old with tall and large fans hanging in the ceiling. Service is very much on the slower side and this place needs some cleanliness and renovation!

Went there on a rainy day. Crowd mostly consists of students and folks waiting for friends. The food quality has degraded since the last time we had been here, nearly 2 decades ago. This time we ordered mutton kabiraji, moghlai paratha, coffee. Ambience is old and nice.

"Adda ta aaj r nei" is so true now a days. The taste of coffee is reducing day by day. Service is not good at all. They ask for tips all the time

I used to visit this place for studying purpose. But food here is awful. Fish fry has no fish, chicken pakora has no chicken, cold coffee was good but nothing special. This is one of those places which we say 'naam a chole'.

It's not a very clean place. The food isn't that great either. The sandwich we ordered was stale. I think they should provide better quality. The place needs renovation and cleanliness desperately.

Very ill mannered staffs, we found hair in our dish, dirty surrounding dirty serving style as well. Above all they will taunt you to leave the place if you take a little time to order your dish which is very embarrassing.
