Been coming here since 20+ years ! It had the best south indian in the city However post covid the management seems to have changed, the staff is new and everything is different The new guys are not being able to run the show at all. Food comes without spoons. Sambhar comes cold. Idly comes cold. They forget your order. Things takes forever! The food thankfully still tastes the same and is too notch - but again cold food is worse than any food

Ah, so Upma has had a makeover, it’s now chilli upma! The good old milk flavor seems to have gone on a permanent vacation. After decades of being loyal customers, looks like this was our grand finale meal at Jyoti Vihar. What a spicy surprise!

Be it the taste of food or the service at Jyoti Vihar, it's NOTHING even close to what it used to be, prior to renovation with the previous OLD🫠 team. We only go there now for the soft spot this place has had in our lives since childhood.

Third class service and arrogant staffs Visited today morning , waited for 40 mins for a simple plain dosa , whereas our other orders did came to our table which was placed later including 3 other dosas Knocked the waiter multiple time , reason our kitchen is busy , went to the receptionist only to be asked to leave if you cant wait , My question if your kitchen is busy from where did you managed to get the other three dosa in 5-6 mins whereas a plain dosa wasnt able to come in 40 mins !!!! What a hospitality , you delay services and then instesd of being apologetic you ask your customer to leave . Guess the fame has got better of you , and this arrogance and attitute surely is the start of your downfall . Thank you for spoiling my sunday I shall never again come or let any of my known visit such a third class place ever again

ONCE maybe this place was good, now IT IS NOT. DO NOT VISIT! ANY south indian place in the city HAS to be better than this. Dirty small tables. Extremely stupid and rude waiters. The food quality/taste has been DESTROYED. And you’ll keep waiting for an hour for your dosa to arrive, only to be served something totally different from what you ordered. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. DO NOT GO!!! 0/5.

what was once an iconic place and loved by all has gradually deteriorated to its current state due to poor service ,management and food quality. we ordered butter masala dosa which was initially served cold. when we objected ,they reheated the same dosa in rancid oil leading to bitter and weird burnt taste. I will not suggest anyone to come here.

The restaurant staff is not concerned with hygiene. When I asked for some sugar to add to my coffee, they added sugar that had dead ants in it. Disappointing service. When asked about it, the staff simply shrugged it off.

They allow people to eat nonveg in table, and also few special customers were allowed to enjoy more than a few beers while sitting inside restaurant.
