I dont know why reviews are bad. You are going to a place which literally says Delhi 6 cuisine so lets expect that food instead of expecting bengali styled mughlai food. I had the pleasure of eating in Karims in Delhi 6 and this one i had and j am glad to say the taste js comparable. Things you must order.. Gosht Nalli Nihari.. Gosht Qorma with absolutely impeccable Khameeri roti and not naan. Briyani is usually lighter than our taste buds and its okay. And they even added aloo for us Kolkatans which is not the case in Delhi Jama Masjid outlet. Drinks were also good. If you are visiting try ordering the food which made the original Karims famous in Delhi 6 without going to Delhi 6

The Authentic Taste Of Delhi 6, Jama Masjid’s Karims’s is now in Kolkata. Karim’s is now opened at Kalikapur. Here in their menu you’ll get a variety of tandoor,Mughlai & North Indian Items . And whatever items we’ve tried, just got mesmerised by their taste. Overall a must visit place for all the North Indian Food lovers

Recently visited the new outlet of Karim’s at Kalikapur and here’s what all we tried: Special Chicken Biryani: 2 juicy pieces of chicken with eggs and potato. Murgh Korma with Khameeri Roti is a must try here. The mutton seekh kebabs can be improved a bit. Loved their Firni. The ambience is minimal yet classy.

I recently had a deeply disappointing experience at Karim's kalikapur. We ordered from the combo menu, specifically the aloo(potato) biryani with chicken Jahangiri and salad. From the outset, the experience was marred by several significant issues. When we first started eating the biryani, we mixed some gravy from the chicken jahangiri bowl with the rice to enhance its flavor, as the biryani was quite dry. However, after just a spoonful, we discovered a long hair in the plate. We immediately informed the staff, who responded defensively, insisting that all kitchen staff wore hair caps and that the chefs were bald, implying it was impossible for the hair to have come from them. Despite this, they reluctantly took our plates away. The chicken Jahangiri itself was served in an extremely small bowl, with portion sizes akin to nuggets and very little gravy. To make matters worse, the chicken had an unpleasant odor, indicating it was not fresh. When the fresh rice was brought out, we requested some extra gravy to mix with the dry biryani as because 50% of the gravy got mixed with the previous rice plate. The staff hesitated and responded with a vague "let me see," but ultimately did not provide any additional gravy. This left us struggling to eat the dry biryani, significantly diminishing our dining experience. Additionally, the salad was a major disappointment. We expected a decent quantity, but it was served on the same plate as the aloo biryani, consisting of a single chilli sliced in half and a handful of sliced onions. This minimal offering did not meet our expectations for a proper salad accompaniment. We also asked for an extra aloo(potato), which was priced at 20 rupees, but were informed that extra aloo is not provided with the combo menu. This was another significant disappointment. The hygiene standards were equally troubling. The sink in the washroom was dirty, with little to no hand wash available. Given that there were no other guests in the restaurant, the staff spent most of their time watching us, adding to the uncomfortable atmosphere. Overall, the experience was appalling. The combination of subpar food quality, defensive and unaccommodating staff, inadequate hygiene, and a dismal dining environment left us thoroughly dissatisfied. I cannot, in good conscience, recommend Karim's to anyone.

I ordered a chicken tikka biryani ( large) the chicken was smelling and I think it was very old, the potato in the biryani was also not cooked properly. I had to go back to the restaurant to ask for a change, they changed the biryani and gave me a new one. But the experience was pathetic, comparing the price of the biryani was at par with any other brands. Please upgrade

The worst service I ever got in any restaurant. The food was extremely bad, the potato in the biriyani was totally sour and the kabab was extremely bad, the only good part was the sahi tukra.
