Located at the onset of Sector 3, Salt Lake is the restaurant Kaviar. Owned and regulated primarily by the Government of West Bengal, Kaviar demonstrates expertise in serving mughlai, North Indian, as well as Chinese dishes. What is astoundingly special about the place is their sourcing of various unconventional types of meat and that too of peak quality. People who know of Haringhata Meat products can resonate well with this place, as the initiative of Kaviar is a succession of the same. The wide range of meat products available here include those of Pekin Duck, Turkey, Japanese Quail, Chevon (Goat Meat), Mutton (lamb), as well as various varities of Chicken and other meat. We tried a few of their special dishes like the Tandoori Quail which was incredibly tasty with it's smoky flavour, Chicken like texture and an all over great dish. We also tried Rabbit Blast, Peking Duck + Egg Fried Rice (Bowl) that was subtle in its flavours yet very bright, Gondhoraj Turkey, Taipei Chicken, Crispy Fried Chicken, Grilled chicken salad and Pan fried chilly fish Apart from the wide array of meat dishes, Kaviar also serves variety popular food like Burgers, Sandwiches, Salad, Soups, Bowls, Appetizers and what not! The best part is that the prices are extremely affordable and the portions quite a delight. For people who are willing to buy variety raw meat, Kaviar also has a section dedicated to sourcing the same and one can walk in and buy raw meat of their preference any time. You could even place your orders for the same and enjoy a delightful meal! 😋

Talking about exotic non-conventional meat, there are a few places that serve all kinds of meat like that of Duck, Turkey, Quail etc. Kaviar, a multi-cuisine restaurant located at Sector 3, Saltlake serves a variety of dishes and that too at a jaw dropping pricing. They have everything from Chicken Salad, Fish n Chips to Fried Chicken, Tandoori Quail and Burgers, Mocktails as well. They have also come up with reasonably priced single serve bowls at INR 199/- Must Try: ✅Tandoori Quail ✅Fried Chicken ✅Taipei Chicken ✅Pekin Duck Bowl You can also purchase the meat or get it delivered from their store or through swiggy/zomato. A Hidden Gem by our West Bengal Government. "Kaviar" the restaurant based on serving a whole variety of unconventional meat. The types of meat you will get here is Duck, Quail, Turkey and many more. You can also procure the meat from their Store or get it delivered to your doorstep. Do visit this place, Highly recommend.

A hidden gem for non conventional meat items like duck, quail, turkey. Their turkey roast and fish Mughal sarai is just out of the world. Must try for food lovers

#LATEPOST PLEASE DON'T VENTURE OUT UNTILL & UNLESS IT'S AN EMERGENCY - STAY INDOORS & KEEP YOURSELF & EVERYONE AROUND YOU #SAFE 🙏 Kaviar is a #PPPpartnership with the #GovernmentofWestBengal via Haringhata Meat Shop where the focus is on unconventional Non veg delicacies.. Tucked away inside #Saltlake - this one is certainly a hidden gem since 2016.. Service could be slightly better but the pricing is just perfect - extremely economical in respect to the delicacies on offer.. I gorged on #QuailEggDevil, #RoastedDuck & #TandooriQuail - all three items were delicious & specifically the roasted duck was a delightful gastronomical experience - couldn't have imagined duck meat can be that tender.. Missed out on the #RabbitBhuna that day - looking forward to go back soon post lockdown for the same.. I remember going to #Suruchi regularly just beside #SovabazarMetroStation years ago which was also run by the West Bengal government - that was where I had #Quail & #Rabbit for the first time in my life & became a fan of the same instantly - it unfortunately closed down at some point and I miss that place even today because of the unconventional delicacies that used to be on offer at extremely economical prices - thankfully, I have finally found an alternative now.. have always been in my list weneva m n ahare bangla for last 2 years...quail preparation are definitely outstanding..b it egg or tandoori ...even the rabbit prepartns also need a special mention..

This is a budget friendly restaurant in Salt Lake. The food served was hot & delicious. The quality & quantity of the food is good. The environment is good & peaceful. The service is really good.

This was our first visit. Staffs were quite polite. They guided us to the main restaurant. Coming to the food, we ordered Tandoori Quail, Duck Dak Bungalow and Naan. Tandoori quail and the duck was tasty. We were even served with Quail egg which was complimentary. The saddest part was the naan. We ordered 1 Butter Naan and 3 Garlic Naan but they served us with 3 Butter Naan and 1 Garlic Naan. The Naan was not at all soft.
