May 2023: Our touch base and experimentation with a full fledged authentic Korean meal was long pending and we finally decided to have one at the ground floor based King's Bakery, located just beside The Conclave on AJC Bose Road. The relatively new Korean restaurant is known for it's 'authentic Korean food with premium quality of bakery and coffee'. For the main course, we ordered vegetarian versions of the following items - - Gimbap: It was like Sushi. It came accompanied with a watery dip. - Bibimbap: It was a bowl full of warm sticky rice topped with assorted cooked vegetables, gochujang - the traditional red chili paste sauce and sesame oil. - Kimchi Fried Rice: It was basically fried rice infused with kimchi, onion and cheese. Herein, kimchi is chopped Korean traditional fermented vegetables. - Spicy Ramyeon: It was the usual Maggi like Ramen that we prepare at home. - Jajang Ramyeon: It comprised of thick and chewy noodles topped with savory black bean sauce. We ended our meal with the following beverages and desserts - - Beverages: Hot Americano, Cold Cappuccino, Classic Virgin Mojito and Watermelon Mojito - Desserts: Cream Choux, Custard Cream Bun and Cream Red Bean Bun Jajang Ramyeon and Cream Red Bean Bun were the two items which were absolutely new to all of us and even liked by all. Gimbap and Bibimbap appeared quite bland to our taste palette. May be we need to acquire that taste. Or, perhaps with time their authentic recipes will get tweaked a bit as per the local food preference, like it happened with the South Indian and Chinese cuisine. Kimchi Fried Rice, Spicy Ramyeon and all the other desserts tasted good and acted as comfort food as we were already well acquainted with them. All the beverages were also nice.

Heard a lot about this bakery so decided to hit up this place. The ambiance is really cozy and simple. We ordered: 1) Carrot Cake 2) Cheese Cake 3) Caramel Macchiato 4) Tteokbokki 5) Creamy Onion Fried Chicken Honestly, the last two items tasted bad. Tteokbokki felt soggy and horrible. Creamy Onion Fried Chicken had a strong odor which didn't feel good but was manageable. But the desserts here are great. The coffee was rich in taste and the two desserts were good as well. This place felt a bit pricey for the taste of the foods they serve. Apart from that the atmosphere is nice and comfortable. They also have a store inside where you can buy packed Korean food items and other things like scented candles, etc. Overall it was an okayish experience.

ok-ish experience overall. food was mid and not particularly memorable. staff seemed inattentive — had to ask multiple times for basics like spoons and forks. the rosedale branch is much better.

had been to both Purna Das Road and AJC bose Road joint. the food was decent, and my wife and I often used to pick up food from there until we decided to dine in. The staffs are horrible they don't know how to behave or talk, they are most inappropriate for an eatery, which is priced at a premium. The boys and girls serving food behave and talk in a language which is crass and quite streetside category. we though being fond of the food stopped going there. but however the food is good and I miss the food of the place but my experiences with the staffs in both the joints deters me from revisiting.

It was my birthday and I experienced horrible Korean food. Food is total dry. What I see that won't get.. total noisy . Washrooms are clean. But the food ahh..

We visited the place on our anniversary only to spoil our taste buds and mood. They serve tasteless oily and their own version of Korean food which is no where close to the actual Korean Food. Most importantly the food was just way too oily without any taste of chillies. Have seen similar food reviews about them but just wanted to give it a try and got a lesson.
