Had been through a few good reviews about this place - Kochi Kalapata based somewhere in Taltala and hence, decided to order a Chili Paneer Combo (Veg Fried Rice and Chilly Paneer) for delivery from here! Initially, a pocket pinch of 167 bucks was a bit of a pinch, but we eventually felt that it was worth it when we had their stuff! From the packaging, it seemed that rice quantity is pretty less, but on transferring it to another container, found it to be more than enough! Chilly paneer comes as 2 large cubes in Manchurian gravy – tender, soft and gives a melt in the mouth experience! Gone pretty well with the tasty fried rice! They also adhered to the special instructions and refrained from adding to much spiciness / oil! Food quality, presentation, quantity etc are good – overall, a pretty nice experience!

We visited here on the occasion of Poila Boisakh, the food was really good and the behaviour of the owner is really welcoming. We ordered Polao, Vetki Kaliya, mutton, sahi paneer, amer chatni and papad. All the dishes was really tasty. In short it's a hidden gem of central kolkata for bangali cuisine. I also saw the different thalis in other tables, which were also looking delicious.

Kochi Kolapata is the go-to spot for simple, home-style meals that never fail to comfort. After several orders, I’ve found their Basmati Rice, Tawa Roti, Moong Dal, and Paneer Capsicum to be consistently satisfying. The Paneer Bhurji is another solid option, all delivered with care and neatly packaged. However, the Egg Curry and Mixed Veg could use a little fine-tuning to elevate their flavours. While they’re decent, they don’t quite match the perfection of the rest of the menu. That said, the quality and consistency across most dishes make up for it. If you’re looking for safe, wholesome food that feels like home, Kochi Kolapata is a reliable choice. Just a few tweaks, and it could be even better.

Chicken thali was well prepared and tasted like home cooked meal. Food wasn't spicy but tasted good . #quintessential Bengali cuisine 😍👌👌👌👌

No one should visit this restaurant ever again. They have mentioned AC restaurant on the board, but when I asked the service boy to turn in the AC, he told the person in the counter you don't have to be good to customers. Let them say to turn on the AC. When I personally told the person in the counter, he said rudely that we can't turn on the AC now. VERY BAD SERVICE AND BEHAVIOUR. I HPE THIS REACHES THE OWNER.

জঘন্য খাবার... দুটো মাছের থালি বলেছিলাম... দুটোই মাছ এবং ঝোল নষ্ট হয়ে গেছে...গন্ধ হয়ে গেছে... খাওয়া যায় নি...আর কখনো এখানে অর্ডার করবো না...

Worst food we have ever had through Zomato. The entire 2 plates of Chicken Thali was stale and rotten with visible stale froth as we opened the pack. We followed up with #Zomato and the restaurant #KochiKolapata for refund. But the refund was not given. I strongly recommend against Kochi Kolapata restaurant. Horrible experience

I had gone to get parantha and roti. first buy was good however on another ocassion paratha was not in edible condition. it appears poor quality oìl was used.

We ordered food. They need not give the entire order and and saying full order delivered. Cheats they are are along with Zomato.

Behaviour is to bad one porduct is missing and staff talk in cll but he did talk me in right way I don't like it at all
