A great experience . A small stall with plastic chairs all around it on the road filled with people enjoying the variety of breakfast options . It was my first visit over here but the experience would not make it my last but rather many more . Went with family so got to try variety of things . Club kachori, sandwiches, vada pav, malai toast, idly, dosa and tea . Everything was tasty . Completely worth the money with everything being in double digits. The ambience was very good in the open and the service was quick . Good place to have a leisure breakfast with some great food and experience .

An absolute icon of a place. Every single thing we tried was amazing! Their chaa is a must have, tasted amazing. Their singhara is an actual, real singhara which again, we LOVED. Tried their lassi as well which was also creamy and lush, must try! The star of the day was however, their malai toast, omg, so simple yet so decadent, loved!

🟣 The Calcutta Stock Exchange, located at the Lyons Range, Kolkata, India, is the oldest government owned stock exchange in Asia. It was founded on 1 December 1863 by sixteen of Calcutta's leading stockbrokers, beginning its work in rented premises at 11 Strand Road. At the heart of all the share trading, food is a constant distraction to the brokers of CSE. Before India saw the light of freedom, a gentleman from Gaya in 1945 opened a tea shop in Lyons Range, serving tea and snacks to its customers. Amongst the Kolkatans, the shop has prevailed their goodwill for 77 years now. The shop is now currently owned by the fourth generation stalwarts named Mukund and Guddu Anand Singh, their great gandfather was the one who laid the inception. One of the interesting thing was previously the shop had no name, but eventually a name came in place, as it is situated at a 'kona', the owners decided to name it Kona Dukan. Mukund actually named it after decades have gone in this nameless shop. Both of the brothers are now currently analysing the market trends and shifting the menu according current needs and wants. Ordered from their menu : 🔴 Malai Toast (2pcs) - Rs. 35 🔴 Corn & Cheese Sandwich - Rs. 50 🔴 Kullad Chai - Rs. 30 🟢 The easiest route is to take an exit from Central Metro Gate No. 5 take a right and the and then take a left, cross the street and you will fall on Khirode Vidya Binod Avenue, walk on that road, crossing Tea Board, take the next left and you will fall on Lyons Range, just opposite to the Calcutta Stock Exchange Building, the shop is situated. 🟢 There are no seating arrangements. 🟢 You will see different coloured shirts for different shops over there and numbers printed on the back of those shirts. 🟢 They do not have a menu card, you just have to ask them what is available. 🟢 Coming to the food : 🟧 Malai Toast - The thicker layer of the milk is applied on lightly toasted breads and sugar is sprinkled on top of it, the freshness of the cream and the sweetness of the sugar is a heavenly combo, Very much recommended. 🟧 Corn & Cheese Sandwich - The basic ingredients are same, but the filling inside the bread is huge, and the grill the entire sandwich by applying butter on top of it. The entire sandwich is loaded with cheese and corn, really worthy of the name. 🟧 Kullad Chai - There are different sizes of cups in which you can have tea, but the kullad is the biggest cup available there, the kick of the spices and the aroma of the tea leaves will certainly have a mesmeriing effect on you, certainly one of the best tea I have ever had. 🟢 Accepts all kinds of payments. 🟢 They are not available on food aggregator apps for delivery.

I had their malai toast and tea. Both the items were superb. The price for the malai toast is too high at Rs.50 a plate and needs to reduce considering it's a roadside shack, nothing fancy but the malai used is top notch. The tea was amazing, filled with kesar, cardamom, ginger and tea spice mix. Highly recommended for the tea . Located in the hustle and bustle near Calcutta Stock Exchange in Kolkata and is not too difficult to locate as it is the corner shop hence the name. Google Maps are helpful if you are unaware of the location.

Kona Dukan : Situated near the Dalhousie area, this tea stall offers a variety of snacks and beverages like tea, lassi, bread toast, sandwich, club kachori etc. They have sitting arrangements right in front of the stall on the road itself. The prices are little high compared to some of the nearby stalls. The stall is crowded for being a good hangout place for the office colleagues or friends. A must try for all especially during the winter season!

A small shop just behind Writers building (near Calcutta stock exchange) . Its name Kona dukan because it’s situated at corner (in hindi corner) . Very limited menu, main USP is Malai Toast, sandwiches and tea. I had their Malai Toast and tea (they have saffron tea also ) which cost just rs 70. If someone is in the area then should visit this place.

Visited KONA DUKAN near CALCUTTA STOCK EXCHANGE for breakfast. Ordered their KESARI CHAI, MALAI TOAST, BUTTER TOAST, CHEESE PANEER SANDWICH & CLUB KACHORI. The taste was average except the MALAI TOAST which was exceptionally good. Would love to visit this place again for their MALAI TOAST.

☕ Kona Dukan – A Quick Roadside Bite A small roadside breakfast/snacks joint offering simple vegetarian options—perfect for a quick halt. 🍴 What We Tried Chai & Lassi – Lassi was thick, rich, and really tasty; chai was good too Club Kachori & Bread Butter Toast – Fresh and satisfying 💭 Overall The taste was good and comforting, but the place felt slightly overpriced for what it offers
