Kookie Jar has been my favourite since childhood and honestly the South Kolkata outlets are far better in terms of service, variety and of course the ambience. Both dessert and savoury items are too good ❤️ I'm shocked that the city centre outlet lacks in taste, quality and also there is no variety here but South Kolkata Kookie Jar is Amazing!

Kookie Jar has been my favourite since inception. In fact, from the time I have left Kolkata, I yearn for the same taste in pastries from other bakeries. But get disappointed everytime. Because Kookie Jar is unique and I love it..

I've recently visited this place to celebrate my friend's birthday. We tried some meals that were delicious and their service was well too. Here's employees are really friendly.

Picked up savouries from here. Was fresh. The same items ordered from city centre salt lake tasted different..

It’s a classic bakery with ample of delicious bread , cakes and pastries.. They have some savoury and cute cookies that are tempting.. They newly launched icecreams also which was good .. I tried the lemon icecream which I loved it.. Vegetarian options are less compare to Non-vegetarian .. Bit pricey but somewhat worthy..

One of the better baked goods store in Kolkata, this place does some pretty good cakes and savouries. The store itself has a pretty neat display of items spread across the breadth of the space. Their cakes are especially good as long as you get a fresh one. Have had instances of having bought day old baked stuff which turned out to be incredibly dry. With the prices charges, that is completely unacceptable. In store service is a joke unfortunately, and doesn't match with the quality of the goods served. Would recommend the store to ensure proper quality checks and not stock old cakes. Of course the place is pricey, which I would pay for fresh and good quality cakes, sandwiches, etc but not for stale food. Period.

Mango tart was too small with too little filling for the 250 price tag. The quantity should at least double. feel ripped off.

We have been regular customers to Kookie Jar but something happened which will make me think if we ever want to go there or I doubt I will suggest anyone to go there ever! We ordered some food and a coffee, the coffee was too much for my mom, hence my asked me to get a cup from them. I went and asked for a cup, a guy named TARAK leaning on a wall, posed and told me, "we can only give one cup for one coffee, it comes with coffee's count". Even if there's such a rule, the way he delivered the message was so insulting, I kept my composure and asked his name, and hence the review. These people think, just because their place has a big name, they can treat people howsoever they want! Disgusted!
