The quality of this branch of kookie Jar cakes is not same as the main branch in Loudon street, even the price of the same cakes are less in Zomato delivery menu!!!! I would recommend to buy from the main branch(Loudon street)

It was awesome sometimes ago. But now it's quality declines. Last month I bought some pastries on their request which I loved earlier but it was bad. Decided not to buy from this outlet. Rawdon st KJ is still very good.

I absolutely loved Kookie Jar ever since I was in school (10 years ago). This was my go-to place for cakes/pastries/sandwiches. However, over the last few years, their prices have kept increasing and the taste has deteriorated. On top of that, they don’t even give complementary candle/knife with a Rs. 1500 cake. As a former loyal customer, I say this with a heavy heart that today was the last day I ordered from Kookie Jar. :)

It took us 15 minutes to get waited on. They never even noticed us standing in front of them. It was not crowded either. Their push sellling is obscene. Their ice cream tubs don’t have ingredients listed, nor do they have any nutrition information. I will not go there again.

all should avoid this city centre salt lake outlet. the cake we purchased was stale and tasting very bad. the staff there was very unprofessional and not at all cooperative. they even told that we are telling lies about the cake. customer is spending 1800 for their cake, and for that we are receiving very sub standard below quality cake, and then instead of reasoning into our complaint, they are behaving like the customer himself is telling lies. even much smaller shops have better customer service. I have an advice for the owners. please check the attitude of your staff of this outlet, or else the brand we all loved before will lose its place in our hearts and in the market never again buying from this outlet again, and may be not even from any other Kookie jar outlet as well if the owners don't care about customer feedback

While we around CC1 yesterday, we decided to try Kookie Jar for desert. When we ordered, they behaved like we were not going to pay and run away with the lemon tart. So before taking the tart, we decided to pay. Even during payment, their attitude was that figuring out their payment process is our responsibility. Such a pathetic behavior. And on the tart, it tasted just like any other tart. Even without the horrible behavior, the experience can't have more than 3 rating.

The man in the store is horrible. He don't even any etiquette and really don't have any manner. I really wonder how can kookie jar keep such a terrible man at their store. He is arrogant, rude and proud for no reason. Further, the store lacks originality. Each and every cake is copied from some or the other bakery. Overall it is the worst cake shop I have ever seen .

Today we experienced: - Poor quality & taste in their pastry (Evasion Slice) - the pastry was stale, fowl smelling & very hard in texture. - Service staff was very rude & defiant. They did not even care to ask for another pastry neither did offer any refund. Overall their quality in every aspect has gone down. They really need to rethink upon their operations.

worst cake shop in kolkata, recently brought a cake from the city centre branch and they gave us a stale cake which no one could eat. the cake was smelling and no one could eat.. wen we went to the shop for complain, they did not entertain us and they kept blaming us.. people who want to spoil their party please buy cakes from kookie jar..

Very impolite and unprofessional staff, don't have the capacity to handle crowd (CC1). They don't even admit that they are short-staffed. I have been a Kookie Jar customer for many years. But the way they behaved today was absolutely unacceptable. I had to leave without ordering our kid's birthday cake. Extremely disappointed.
