Had dinner for 2 on 1st Jan and I have to say this, one of the best Italian restaurants in town. We got chicken fritters, Prawn tortellini, lamb chops and tiramisu. Costed us around 7.5k including water.. tea and coffee were on the house (totally unexpected) . The Prawn tortellini is one of the best pasta I have ever had. The woman taking our order was extremely knowledgeable and super nice to speak to, remaining was extremely nice too, highly recommend 👌

Had an exceptional dining experience at La Cucina, Hyatt Regency Kolkata. The ambience, food quality, and overall service were outstanding. A special mention to Suravi Mondal, whose professionalism and warmth truly elevated the experience. Her attentive service, courteous demeanor, and eye for detail ensured a seamless and memorable meal. Highly commendable hospitality — a true asset to the team.

I ordered a dish named ‘Polenta’ which usually used to come with a decent amount of sauce by the side. But now they have started to just put a few drops of the sauce on top of it and REFUSED me some extra sauce when I asked for it. I had to eat the dish absolutely dry and tasteless! Again with the Portobello Ravioli which I ordered and was extremely average (the stuffing) in the first place, I faced the same issue of getting absolutely negligible mushroom sauce on it and had to for the first time eat absolutely dry and non saucy ravioli! The aglio olio was also absolutely SHIT! And to conclude it all, the supposedly good Italian restaurant of Hyatt DID NOT HAVE TIRAMISU….for whatever reason only known to them! Not only was the food itself below average….but the chefs and staff made sure that they just do not end up making my dinner experience a pleasant one even by mistake! This place was surely a decent place to dine ages ago, but now….DO NOT GO! Instead visit MUCH better places such as Serafina or Fabbrica….you’ll have a way better time

the service is super slow. I booked a table online and they had no records. Next they never even served the drinks menu until the bill came when we had actually asked 3 diff servers to give it to us. pizza is fab but again no chilli flakes or seasons ing came in spite of asking for it until the pizza got over. overall very poor service that too on a anniversary day.

The service was very poor and the food was average , have been to la cucina umpteen number of times but the staff were not well trained , had to ask for water 4 times , got the rissotto changed but still it was not good. Sad because la cucina used to be one of my favourite restaurants for italian food Please up your service game, hire good and friendly staff
