New Chowringhee Cabin is a small joint beside the legendary but out of charm Anadi Cabin and has reasonably priced fast food on offer. The place is similar to any Esplanade style fast food center with old wooden furniture, not so sober ambience and comes amidst the hustle and bustle. However, the quality of food on offer isn't that great compared to similar outlets. A decent option for a roll on the go although there are plenty of options available in the area.

Bring located beside the famous Anadi, this has always been playing second fiddle to the more illustrious competitor. But the fact they have survived and flourished is a mark of their individuality. They also serve the old Kolkata style cuisine whic was very popular till the late 80s when rolls and chow mien took over. A mark of the old Kolkata in dharamtala area.

We had moglai , paratha and chicken kasa. Moglai tasted okay. It costed 70. One paratha cost 30 it's actually lacha paratha. Chicken kasa was okay. It costed 100. The proper adi Bengali restaurant culture is maintained.

LIGHTS. CAMERA. REVIEW. Hey friends, how you all are doing??! Hope y'all having a good time and had lots of delicious foods. This time I went to a place that is quite unknown to many people. LOCATION : Situated just at the crossing of dharamatala. Opposite to big Bazaar. AMBIENCE : Very much ordinary like all the other small restaurants have. Clean, hygenic and seating arrangements are good. SERVICES : Services are just what the normal restaurants have. Nothing much you should expect from this place. FOOD : I had ordered for veg chowmein which i didn't like at all. The taste was also not good. The quantity was enough for one person but the price is over rated. For a veg chowmein you won't like to spend 60 buck from a place like that. I would recommend to look for some other places in New market area rather than spending over here. The price of food is quite ok. But the amount of food seemed less to me. I took the roll. There was too much salt. I didn't like to eat. The worst was the staff there. After paying the bill, a staff member was handing over the money back to us while holding the tip as he wished. 50 was refunded, but he kept 30 rupees separately for him. As usual, he was standing in front of the face saying give tips, give tips. Also, instead of giving 4 plates for 4 people, the rolls were given on 2 plates.

This restro is located at Dharamtala,just beside Anadi's and opposite to Big Bazar.I ordered Special Mughlai.Nothing was special about it.I couldn't find anything special.The taste was also ordinary.

Firstly, this not a review in any way. There is nothing to "review" about this place. I had to go to this place after a long day with empty stomach. Ordered plain and simple fish thali with papad. The bill was ₹320 (₹280 for two fish thakis and ₹40 for papad). The price here is notoriously high and quality of the thali was below average with too much in everything. And the disturbing thing is that the people there will not tell you the price beforehand. Perhaps, the worst ever experience I ever have. Dont waste your money and time here.

Worst place to have your food, don't ever go there. Ordered moghlai paratha and chicken chowmin,the moghlai was not perfectly cooked, raw inside, and so was the chowmin. The veggies used in the chowmin was a bit bitter, the chowmin was extremely oily and the chicken used in it was only properly cooked. So if this place really wants to do a favour by scrutinizing the quality of the food before giving ,only then they can eventually survive.
