Jan 2026: Winter Lunch @ Mehak-e-Punjab, Axis Mall, New Town 😊 The recently concluded winter was on it's last leg and we realised that we had neither cooked nor eaten outside, one of our staple winter meals i.e. Sarson Ka Saag & Makai Ki Roti! So, we headed for Mehak-e-Punjab and ordered a sumptuous North-West vegetarian lunch consisting of - ... Methi Matar Malai ... Sarson Saaf ... Butter Naan ... Makai Roti ... Subji Pulao ... My family and our friend had a lunch and after paying bill kept some cash as a tip for the boy who served food but the person who took order came and asked Sir "tip de kar jayeye". we said already kept inside the bill book. May be he took the entire tip amount and might have not given part to the boy who served. Generally all give tips in restaurant but first time seeing a staff asking tip as a right when the customer is about to leave. It sounded wierd. Perhaps i won't like to go there again.

The food is not of good quality, the hygiene is bad. Cockroach was roaming on our table. The wash basin was dirty, washroom was not clean. We ordered biryani, which was neither Kolkata style nor Hyderabad style. Additionally Mutton Bhuna was made like kadhai mutton. Highly disappointed

Worst place worst people worst manager If u are a decent people and want a decent environment DO NOT COME HERE ITS A PLACE ONLY FOR DRUNKEN PEOPLE WORST EVER SEEN MANAGER AND SERVERS People asked me to pay 1000 rs for the parcel and insulted my wide saying that paisa nai hai toh mat aaya karo . It was just so worst experience visiting this. The food was worst. I order a virgin mojito which was just a basic drink they were unable to made that also and then we order Afgani tangri kebab it was hilarious the served kebab with egg froth what to say….just chiiiiiiiii

Horrible experience. The biriyani was rotten and had a foul smell. Neither the butter naan and tandoori roti was up to the mark. It was a complete waste of money and it certainly ruined our evening
