recently had the opportunity to visit Mitra Cafe in Kolkata sector 2 saltlake. I ordered two vegetable chops, one mutton kabiraji, and one fish kabiraji. The total cost of the meal was 493 rupees. I was very impressed with the quality of the food at Mitra Cafe. The ingredients were fresh and the dishes were well-prepared. The service was also very good. The staff was friendly and attentive. The vegetable chops were delicious! They were crispy on the outside and soft and flavorful on the inside. The mutton kabiraji was also very good. The mutton was tender and juicy, and the breading was crispy and flavorful. The fish kabiraji was the highlight of the meal. The fish was perfectly cooked and the breading was light and crispy.

Last week I visited Mitra Cafe for lunch with my parents. The ambience of this place is just amazing. We tried there Fish Finger, Mutton Kosha, Tandoori Roti and Damodar Seth Thali. All the items were very good. The services and behaviour of the staffs were also very good. This place is my all time favourite.

Recently visited this outlet, food is equally good as other outlets. Service is good. There is a small seating.

Who doesn’t know mitra cafe in Kolkata specially a bong food lover. Its a new outlet in saltlake. Very small outlet specially for take away Maximum 2 or 3 seats available to seat. Well ordered 2 fish fry it was bit costly but solid in taste. Highly recommend 😊

This is the newly opened outlet of the famous Mitra Cafe. Their fish fry and prawn cutlet are quite popular. Got a few items packed for having at home. Egg devil coated with mashed potato and keema was good, though spicy. Mutton cutlet was okay, nothing extraordinary. Same for prawn cutlet, which was flattened small prawns, coated with mashed potato mixture and batter fried. Fish fry was good, but again not as per the hype. Need to improve quality. Didn't find anything lip-smackingly extraordinary.

To be clear, the one star review is of the food that was served today. on dozens of other times, the quality is very good. the fish fingers and egg devil both were obviously stale and smelled. upon confronting the manager type person, the fish fingers were changed but was just a little better. they served stale food internationally. literally left a bad taste a mouth.

I ordered 6 diamond fish fry . Instead of diamond fish fry they supplied ordinary fish fry of worst quality. Particularly this outlet in Salt Lake Sector 2 is cheating customers. This is not the first time I am experiencing this. Take action please.

Horrible. They only keep high value items which themselves are horrible. Used to be good but will be avoiding henceforth.

The fish was not fresh...at all It was very soft gooey.. didnot expect this from a famous chain like Mitra Cafe
