One of the best things to try here is definitely the Jhol Momo — they really know how to get it right. Their bowls are also worth trying. It’s a small café, but the vibe is really cozy. On a rainy evening, sitting by the window with a steaming hot Jhol Momo feels like the perfect mood. Even their tea and soups are quite good. Montana’s Cafe is definitely worth a visit.

Loved everything we tried. 1. Milk coffee was on of the best I've had. 2. The kothe momos filled with cheese and zojila chicken should not be missed out. 3. The chicken popcorn sautéed in curry leaves and tagorashi was very tasty, must have. 4. Chipotle cheese fries wasn't worth it as the chipotle sauce was industrial and not homemade. All in all a must try. <33

Quaint little cafe tucked in a narrow lane off Sarat Bose Road. Visited this place to have Laphing. One of the only few places in Kolkata that makes Laphing. Also had Momos and Bao. The food is great and affordably priced. The ambience is lovely even though the place is small. Definitely should visit this place.

If you want to witness the heights of unprofessionalism, this café is the place. They wrongly billed me, charged extra, and instead of taking responsibility, the owner shamelessly blamed me for not checking their mistake. Shocking! It took them more than 5 hours to refund a petty ₹40, and even then the owner behaved arrogantly, lecturing me about “ethics” while showing none himself. Hospitality is about humility, respect, and accountability – three things completely missing here. Food is never enough to cover up pathetic service and arrogance. One of the worst customer-handling experiences I’ve ever had. Strongly NOT recommended.
