A satisfying lunch, tried their Fish Fry, Chicken Malai Kebab, Mutton Biryani, and ended on a sweet note with Firni every dish was delicious and full of authentic flavour. Perfect blend of taste, freshness, and warmth in the service. Definitely worth visiting again!

All the items were exceptional, truly. We tried the special mutton biriyani, chicken malai kebab, golden fried bhetki (their specialty), phirni, and mixed fresh lime soda. Super fast service, impeccable taste, royal ambience :) what else could one ask for?

I have tried their fish fry, biriyani, firni and all of them were a solid 10/10 . The ambience and the behaviour of the staff were also good. Overall my experience was great.

I have never tasted better Naan and Bhetki fry like that in Mukherjee 's . Best. Best. Best. Must try if you are in Serampore or nearby.

Visited on Saraswati Pujo, so there was a waiting time of around 1.5 hours, which was reasonable considering the festive rush. Once seated, the service was quite quick — food arrived within 10–15 minutes. We ordered a Full Chicken Tandoori, and it was excellent — perfectly spiced, tangy, and absolutely worth the price. Rating: 4.5/5. The Fish Fry was also extremely good — crispy outside and soft inside. Rating: 4/5. For biryani, we had one Mutton and one Chicken Biryani. As someone who loves Kolkata-style biryani, I found it less spicy than expected. Since it’s quite hyped, I expected a bit more depth in flavor. Rating: 3.5/5. Overall experience: 4/5. A great spot for tandoori and fish fry, but not my top recommendation for biryani.

Waited for a long time to be here. On the new year 2026 Me with my wife & friends visited here. Ambience is very good. We ordered Bhetki Fish Fry , Mutton Biriyani , Chicken Chap. Bhetki Fish Fry:- Generally their Fish Fry is one of the stand out dish but today We had a hard luck. Fish fry was not fried properly. We complained. Again ordered 1 more with instruction of Deep Fry. That was tested good. Mutton Biriyani:- The Showstopper was amazing. Tested light but very much tasteful. Mutton was so soft. Loved it Chicken Chap:- Nice Taste. Gravy was very good. Chicken was soft Ambience:- Ambience was Calm , Nice Service:- That was not up to the mark. Very Casual approach to guests.

I have heard lots of positive reviews about this restaurant so I decided to give it a visit. And it lives upto it's expectations... ambience was elegant and vibrant. staffs were cordial. although I felt seating space was a bit cramped up; there was no space to move our legs while sitting. coming to food, took special mutton biriyani and chicken pasinda. both were awesome. 5/5. took tandoori chicken full in starters which was equally delicious. 5/5. They also prepare fish fry which is another hidden gem. overall experience was really good and would love to visit again.

I had travelled from Kolkata to have lunch at this wonderful restaurant. Food quality was good. The restaurant serves authentic Bengali food. Must have in case you are looking for Bengali cuisine.

So this is my second time visiting the restaurant.We had Fishfry and mutton Biriyani.Fishfry was good,but the biriyani was not upto the mark,salt was less and it was not that hot also. Now coming to the behaviour of the manager or head waiter which was particularly bad.One grumpy old man.Somehow he was not happy serving us or anybody.Firstly he changed our seat after having starters and the he was arguing and nagging,not at all welcoming.I would like to not visit again ever.There are so many other places which offers both good food and hospitality.
