Being a bangali I don't know who've not ate here. Visiting this place since childhood and now with friends it is kinda all same. Though the prices and the taste have slightly changed but it is still my favourite in case of snacks at Hatibagan area right opposite to town school. Things to try here: ◆Fish/Chicken Kabiraji ◆Fish Fry ◆Chicken Cutlet

Have been visiting this place since I was a child. Been to many new restaurants so far, still this place feels like a warm hug with a tinge of nostalgia. The place could work on a subtle re-design or just a basic painting of the walls. The food still remains the same. Love this place.

Legendary places like this represent the actual North Kolkata food culture. They're present since ages and the food quality they serve for the price that you can't get in any modern new restaurant and cafes. Their snacks and North Indian dishes are worth trying, they also serve Chinese items. I took gravy items for dinner. Chicken Kosha @ Rs.90 (4/5) Mutton Korma @ Rs.170 (3.5/5) Chicken Kasha has the authentic taste, big chicken piece and just right number of spices. Mutton Korma gravy has sweet nature, 4 small well-cooked pieces. Both were perfect to go with roti or their luchi like parathas. But both were bit too oily. Highly recommended if you love to explore North Kolkata food. I hope to try their other items in future. Just remember they only accept cash.

Been to this place before. One of the oldest place in the city. It has a bit of heritage taste in the restaurant. Coming to the food, we had mixed gravy chow amd mutton kabiraji. Both the dishes were delicious. The serve it hot and the service qqs too quick.. Overall a good place to hangout...

The place where I've been eating since my childhood. It's an all time crowd gathering place. Though the qualities of food items have deteriorated but nevertheless it has the vintage ambiance.
