It's a legacy restaurant. The taste of food is unbeatable. Best Mughlai food and the Chinese menu is absolutely tasty. Price is very reasonable. Quantity is huge and can be shared among two easily. Staff is friendly and Polite. Place has an old timey vibe to it, true essence of North Kolkata. Good Hangout place too. Great place for regulars.

This place is situated just opposite to Hedua swimming pool, Bethune college and very old place almost a decade. Once you enter you will see old furnitures. Upstairs you will find cabins but wearing half pant is not allowed to sit there. We (myself n wife) ordered Fish fry, Mutton Cutlet, Chicken fried rice and special Mughlai Paratha. Quality n quantity was good. All together we have paid just 295/- only. Very pocket friendly.

I've been there for a numerous time as my hostel, college were there. There are two storied building so you can choose the 1st floor to avoid noise. I love their special mughlai paratha and chicken hakka noodles. The price of mughlai paratha is reasonable. It tastes so good and well cooked. The taste of noodles is okay but price is little bit high. Otherwise highly recommended.

I don't understand why New Basanta Cabin has such low rating on Zomato. It is a hotel cum restaurant. We ordered a plate of Chicken Chowmin at noon, that costed ₹140. The taste was really good, and the quantity is enough for two.

One of the oldest eateries situated near hedua park. This place carries some nostalgia to me. Visited this place so many times during my college days. Chicken chowmin, kabiraji, fish fry are the ones which I mostly liked from here. Though hygiene is an issue, still can be tried at least for once.

In kolkata there are so much cabins and it os one of them...bt the ambience is not too good and space of the cabin is small..bt in cabin concept the must try item is moghlai paratha,and it is so good,specually the potato curry they surved is like homemade potato curry..i also tried the egg hakka noodles which is also good..

Visited during Puja, in between pandal hopping. Influenceed by others I ordered a kabiraji which was good in taste and size (average) and cutlet which was good. If a person doesn't like oily food he or she should try other items apart from kabiraji.

Went there on saptami evening with 7 friends, we all took chowmein (chicken, egg and veg).....taste was not good but okay, price was as per quantity....staffs are polite.

Have had their moglai Paratha and kabirajis..decent but nothing great..better options are available nearby.
