I just went to try their iconic and signature KATHI ROLL and yes they nailed it . It was my first time and they made my taste buds happy with their EGG CHICKEN KATHI ROLL ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ And their attendant was very polite and helpful.

We visited the section that serves beef.. the stew and biryani were really good but the chicken chaap tasted funny... it had a weird flavour.. the roti was huge and soft..the biryani was really good .. spicy and moist.. the firni and the stew were tasty too.. they should just improve on the hygiene.. the place was a bit dirty..

They are considered to be the inventors of Kathi rolls but looks now they forget how to do. My worst roll experience specially when you visit with such high expectations. Situation in the busy New Market area this place remains crowded throughout the day. I visited after lunch hour still majority of tables were occupied. Cleanliness and hygiene was not upto the mark, need to work on it. But most disappointing was the food,I ordered chicken Kathi rolls considering inventors of rolls should be making one of best rolls in town but I was wrong. Neither stuffing of kabab was justifying the price nor the taste, worst was that it was cold from inside,Kababs stuffing were not quick fried on tawa before filling and serving. What i felt that the Roll was already prepared and was just heated on tawa before serving thats why only roti was warm not kabab. Overall a bad experience and won’t be visiting again.

Went to Nizam after a long time. Currently sitting in the restaurant and writing this. The quality and quantity has degraded so much in a matter of an year. ordered chicken biriyani for 2 people. ANY self respecting biriyani restaurant in Kolkata (think Dada Boudir, Arsalan) usually have enough rice for 2 people. but this time Nizam outdid itself. my companion usually eats less but they finished the whole plate. while ordering takeaway even from Dada Boudir, they give enough rice to serve 2 people, while Nizam not only overcharged but also gave way less. I had no choice but to order something else too for myself. I even asked the waiter if it was full plate or they gave half plate by mistake. I ordered a beef roll for myself before writing this and I'm still waiting. definitely won't be returning again

I recently visited Nizam's in Dharamtala, Kolkata, and was thoroughly disappointed. The food pricing was high I ordered the Mutton Biryani, which was shockingly tasteless, and the Tandoori Chicken seemed like it had been sitting out for two days. The flavors were uninspiring, and the overall experience was worse than what I've had at street food stalls. As a first-time visitor to Kolkata, I was looking forward to trying Nizam's, but unfortunately, it didn't live up to its reputation.

absolutely horrible. never going back again. took a chicken roll and it was priced at something around 70 or 80 rupees which had NO taste, the size was disgustingly small for that amount and the chicken inside? 4 tiny rubbery pieces.... NOT RECOMMENDED !!! stay away from this place.

Went to Nizams in New Market Area to try their Special Mutton Biriyani and the plate of food had multiple tiny strands of hair in it. Very very unhygienic. Had to report multiple times after which the Manager came. Very disappointing and not at all acceptable.

Please don’t eat here. We ordered 4 double mutton rolls, the parathas were uncooked, mutton was burnt and double mutton did not even have quantity of single mutton.

There kathi rolls has lost the touch, as it tasted too oily and bland, for 110 Rs the quality and quantity was just not it. Pathetic experience
