Nomads Cafe is a delightful eatery located in the heart of the city. I recently had the opportunity to dine at this restaurant and I must say, the experience was truly exceptional. From the ambience to the food, everything was just perfect. Starting with the starters, the Drums of Heaven were crispy on the outside and succulent on the inside. The Pan-fried Chicken Momo had the perfect blend of spices and the peri peri pizza was a burst of flavors. Each dish was unique and delicious in its own way. Moving on to the main course, the Thai Green Curry was a delightful surprise. It was rich and creamy with the perfect balance of sweetness and spice. The Jasmine rice was fluffy and aromatic and paired well with the Malaysian Chicken, which was tender and flavorful. To wash down the delicious meal, we ordered a variety of mocktails. The Minty Coffee Mocktail was a refreshing blend of coffee and mint, while the Sundowner Mocktail was a fruity delight. The Baby Loves It Mocktail was a sweet and tangy drink, and the Sunset Punch Mocktail was a perfect end to the meal. Overall, Nomads Cafe is a great place to enjoy some delicious food with friends and family. The staff is friendly and the service is top-notch. The menu is diverse, and the portions are generous. I would highly recommend Nomads Cafe to anyone looking for a great dining experience.

This is small cosy cafe in the bylanes of Patuli. The staffs r very courteous and makes u feel at home. Though the service is very slow, but since most visitors are from nearby areas, it gives u time to chill with company. Good varieties in menu along with mocktails & hot/cold beverages. Overall a nice cosy place to spend evening when u dont wanna go too far or spend too much.

This is a tiny cafe, tucked away in a corner of Patuli. The space is less but the quantity of food was quite good. The quality is not bad either, especially their Chinese section. It's light on the pocket and definitely worth visiting for those living in East Kolkata who don't want to go to Hindustan Park everytime they've a craving for eating out.

Zero on customer service and commitment towards improvement. This peculiar outlet brings shame to all its counterparts due to its third rate order handling. Famous for its vegan menu, Nomad is a hot fav of mine but what happens when some forgetful bum lazes off on their job and doesn't turn off the vegan menu when they have RUN OUT of Vegan Cheese? Here's what happens. The hapless customer places an order, being hungry and sure if service waits patiently at 10 pm at night. I get a call from the clown at the outlet at 10:20 .. roughly 15-20 mins later that "we don't have vegan cheese, shall we give you dairy cheese?" I was blown away... wow. Why don't you feed me a whole cow instead? Think about the offensiveness of that question.. it's like asking a vegetarian if they can be served non-veg. But these clowns in this peculiar Kolkata outlet have no idea about dietary sensitivity or the normal decency to start with an apology. When I countered their bull$hit , they were vaguely regretful of not turning off their menu. But no apologies. Not even for calling so late... "Oh we were trying but your call was not connecting". You know what doesn't connect - the calls to this friggin joint. Customer calls, they disconnect. Zomato calls, they disconnect. Go home jokers. Shut down and go home. Don't drag the Nomad brand name through mud and $hit. The brand stands for something in other cities. Prime example of how a bunch of lazy losers can ruin a business brand name.

On Saturday, May 24th, 2025, we returned to Nomad’s Café near Patuli, a place I used to love for its great food and friendly service. The café always had a cozy feel, and the staff were polite. After being away for a few months, we went back, but the experience was terrible. We arrived at 9 p.m. and placed our order at 9:16. We asked if the food could come quickly, and the waiter said yes. But we waited over an hour. Only our drinks came after many complaints. When the food finally arrived, there was a piece of foil inside the pasta—likely from a cheese cube. This could have caused serious harm if swallowed. Shockingly, the staff didn’t apologize or offer any solution or compensation/ replacement. Their careless attitude was upsetting. Sadly, Nomad’s Café has lost our trust for good.
