This Southern Avenue restaurant is a must try because of comfortable street parking , pocket friendly set lunch starting from Rs 399/- and the comfortable and clean dining area . This restaurant is located on the ground floor of the southern plaza hotel . I can tell you that the Indian multi course set lunch is a must try , you can also opt for the Chinese set lunch . The veg Indian set lunch that I tried had 4 pieces of veg kebab , flavoured rice , tandoori roti / naan , daal , mixed veg , kadai paneer , salad , papad , gulaab jamun ( sweet of the day ) . This was priced at only Rs 399/-++ !! ( no repeat ) . A must try !! You can also book their conference room , underground ( 40/50 pax ) , banquet hall ( 100 pax ) .

Southern Plaza is one of the oldest hotels on Southern Avenue. Their in-house restaurant, Oceania is whipping up amazing food with amazing offers. From Monday to Friday, during lunch you can try their super saver set lunch menu priced at 399 and 599 only. Their indian and chinese meals are amazing, huge portion size for 1 person. They also have about 20+ rooms and an open terrace cafe. Visit them and don’t forget to enjoy their meals at great rates.

i visited this restaurant more couple of times in the past.. but what I experienced yesterday( 29th Dec 2024) was an absolute disaster. Ordered chicken clear soup, where many of us just didn't get chicken at all. Also to mention, they do not prepare majority of the listed soup items in their menu list. 2ndly we ordered lemon grass, only to be disappointed to see it was lemon chicken, on pointing this out to the waiter, we realised they don't even know what lemon grass is... 3rdly, we ordered grilled chicken, and found out that they had coated the chicken well with cornflour and fried n termed it as grilled chicken. They have prawn items, but do not have prawn based soups. Brownie, Tom yum soup, all are in their so called menu, but they say they have stopped making them. Because we went couple of times but long back, we had good experience then, hence took around 10 people yesterday, and this is what we faced. if you can't serve your customer well, shuru down your eatery, team.

Visited on date 17-09-2023 and are regular customer, but yesterday's experience was worst, the behavior of the staff ( Gopal Das) was very arrogant. We have to walkout of the restaurant without having any food. He proudly said earlier also some guest walked out due to same reason. My family decided not to visit their any further. Before going please think about it twice.

3rd class restaurant, with cheap behaviour of the manager. 3rd class service. No one is bothered to take order it’s a total waste of time. Specially the manager is worst
