Visited oceanic for lunch buffet. Food was excellent,all the items available in the spread including the starters tasted awesome. The staff was very cordial and supportive,special mention to Souvan for excellent service. Highly recommended.

Despite multiple negative reviews and a tonne of scepticism, i must say an overall good experience. Maybe because we didn't expect anything at all it appeared satisfactory to us. Decent spread. Nothing extravagant but how much more do u expect off of ~1.2k lunch buffet. Staff behaviour was decent, good ambience, overall a 4* experience. Might consider sometime again.

The ambience of the restaurant is very nice. The service is a little slow, so I couldn't give 5 stars, but the staff were very courteous. We had an issue with one of the items. They immediately changed it complementarily, and they even offered us desserts in the end. It was a very good experience overall, and we will surely return soon.

very poor options of food were available. no starter,only rice dal alu dam navratna curry panner fish jhol chicken and bt nun was available along with veg chow and chicken soup and salads. only 3 types of sweets - rasogolla, kanchagolla and chana jilipi that's all. I will never go there. though the service and ambience was good

Very disappointing experience at Oceanic Restaurant, Perless Inn Kolkata. I had a confirmed Zomato booking for 12 people for dinner today. Just before leaving, I called the restaurant to inform them we were coming with family and children. The staff member Sulaiman behaved very rudely and arrogantly and clearly told us not to come, saying they had another booking and wouldn’t be able to serve us. Why give booking slots on Zomato if you cannot cater to guests? Informing customers at the last moment is completely unprofessional and unacceptable. Very poor hospitality and customer service.

very disappointed. for 1799 rs beverages were not included. very average spread . starters were hariyali kebab chilli chicken and another chicken and paneer and main course was daal rice mutton pulao noodles thai chicken curry fish curry and salad . very weird combination and for a buffet that claims to be a brunch spread did not see brunch or other option. will not visit again. desserts took lot of time to refill . everyone at the table for it at different time. average taste.

Went in for a fine dining experience, but it was all round disappointment. There was no wait time for seating, but that's about it. Service was extremely slow, servers were ill-informed, beverages and menu items unavailable, without any apparent reason. Time taken for service between two dishes was ages. It was extremely frustrating, when the rates are considered, and also the fact that this is a five-star establishment. Have decided not to give business to Oceanic any more.

I booked for Ala carte through Zomato dining but I was told that only branch buffet is available. we have been given only 30 minutes extra to complete our lunch as they will close the buffet. also the food variety was very less for buffet and tastes also not good. I didn't have a good experience.
