This was my first time going to Oudh for dinner with my family. At first, after seeing some negative reviews of this restaurant, I was wondering if it would be a good idea or not to go. But I went with my family. Believe me, the food there was very good, the service there was the best. The way they welcomed us made my family very, very happy. Thank you team oudh😊(kyd street)🌹

We ordered mushroom galawati kebab and awadhi chicken biryani with veg biryani. All the dishes were upto the mark. You should pay a visit!

Excellent service. They by mistake gave chicken instead of mutton but fixed the mistake and replaced it with no issue.

I visited this branch with my colleagues on 25-07-2026. At first, we were told that the upper seating area was closed due to housekeeping. However, when we noticed that people were sitting and eating in that area, we again requested a table in the upper seating section. Even though we had booked a table before visiting, we were once again told that people were still eating there and that, after they left, the restaurant would need another one and a half hours to clean the area. We refused to sit in the lower section. After repeatedly requesting them and finally saying that we would never visit Oudh again, they allowed us to sit in the upper section. We noticed that only one couple was sitting there, while all the other seats were empty. We did not argue about it at that time. However, this was the worst experience I have ever had at this outlet. I strongly request customers to avoid visiting this particular outlet. They also failed to serve us warm water after we finished our food, which further added to the poor experience. The food quantity is decreasing day by day, although the taste was good. Nevertheless, after this experience, I have decided not to visit any Oudh outlet again.

This was my first time trying Oud 1599, and I decided to order a takeaway after hearing a lot of positive reviews. Unfortunately, the experience was quite disappointing. I ordered the Kolkata Mutton Biryani Bucket and Mutton Galouti Kebab. The biryani taste was not satisfactory and honestly nothing special. The quality did not match the reputation. The potato in the biryani was undercooked and hard, which is disappointing especially for Kolkata biryani where the potato is an important element. I had also requested for soft mutton, but the mutton pieces were hard and not tender. The Mutton Galouti Kebabs were also not up to the mark. They tasted heavily of sattu and were very spicy, whereas galouti kebabs are usually expected to be mild, soft, and melt-in-the-mouth. Overall, this first experience did not meet expectations. Hoping this was just a one-off issue and that the quality improves. 1 star for portion size 1 star for packaging

The food was of sub standard quality I think they were specifically doing it because we were paying from district app the moment we brought this to the notice of the waiter his facial reactions changed immediately. we had ordered two handi biryani's the rice was bland not biryani rice no masala or flavours of that of a biryani was present. Chicken had no taste either. The staff were very arrogant and there was a feeling of discomfort within them as we were paying from district. if such is the case the outlet should not list themselves on district we did not ask for discount it was given by them first hand. When we brought this to the notice of the staff he informed his superior his facial reactions were such as if he had done some ehsaan on us. this kind of behaviour and hospitality is not at all acceptable Offering discount and then serving food of substandard quality is not good. i hope district takes strict action and account of these issues.

less portion and absolutely distasteful galawti kebab. portion of biryani should really increase for 2 serves. pathetic experience. total waste of money
