Well well well!! The restaurant has done justice with Bengali vegetarian cuisine with the best price and service. Food was good in taste, we tried several dishes including shukto, dal, mochar ghonto, phulkopir dalna, khejur am shotto chatney, aloo bhaja, and special dish kochu bata which I never had but it was fab.. One can enjoy this place if you are coming for window shopping at Gariahat market.

I was exploring Gariahat market. Came across this place through people's reference. Heard, That the food was excellent for some authentic bengali food. I ordered for Chicken Kasha and Rice. Along with Crispy potato fries. They served me with Kochu bata (Taro Root Paste) that was superb. Finally, They served me with Pan er shorbot. The staff's were well mannered and soft spoken. Will surely visit again.

Food is good no doubt. For an authentic bengali cuisine you must visit this place. Though look and feel not so good and also service they need to upgrade. Pocket pinch for two at least 700-1000₹. Quantity and quality is good. Owner not looking after basic amenities Though. Billing printer , prints which one can't read. Still recommend the place for food lovers. They provide " Maan kochu bata" and "pan shoots" as a complementary!!

This has to be THE WORST BENGALI CUISINE RESTAURANT I VISITED.We visited this place on the occasion of my birthday...That was the only mistake we did that day.We were in a hurry and decided to have a quick homely meal. We ordered: 1)Sada Bhat 2)Rui Macher Kalia 3)Sorshe die Pabdar Jhal 4) Mutton kosha Both the fishes were okayish in taste ,nothing great.Still we were able to eat that.Then came the greatest Disaster in the history of food,the so called "mutton kasha"😫 The mutton piece was basically without any mangso,just a piece a bone.The gravy was too sweet,tasted nothing like kosha ,basically was a tasteless paste of tomato puree and onion.Never,i repeat ,never ever in my life ,i had tasted such mangso. I can vouch a trained person didn't prepare the dish. I fail to understand how a decent resturent can deceive customers this way.The 1 star i gave is solely because zomato doesn't allow us to give "_" ratings to resturents. Recommending everyone not to waste your money by visiting this place.You will ruin your day.

Had the worst dining experience at Paddapar er Ranna Ghor. I was served Kochubata, something I didn’t even order. The moment I took a bite, my mouth and throat were on fire—an intense burning sensation that was impossible to ignore. And I wasn’t the only one. People around me were facing the same problem, all suffering from this burning, painful reaction. When we informed the staff, they simply shrugged it off with a “Okay, don’t eat it.” No apology. No concern. No explanation for why multiple people were reacting this way. Not even basic first aid or a glass of water was offered. This isn’t just about bad service. It’s negligence. It’s dangerous. Avoid Paddapar er Ranna Ghor unless you’re okay with being served the wrong dish, getting a painful reaction, and being treated like your discomfort is none of their business. Absolutely unacceptable. Never going back.

I and my friend visited the place lately. When we reached this place it was a little crowded as a result we were waiting for a clean table. But after waiting for quite a long time , we were told that the table which we were waiting for was not for customers' use. By that time other customers who came late occupied other tables.When we complained that the restaurant staff should've told us that in the beginning .The person who was sitting at the cash counter started misbehaving when we told him we were waiting right in front of his eyes but still he did not say anything about that table (which was not in use). He started arguing and put an allegation that we actually came late as a result we did not get the other vacant tables. On getting such unexpected and disrespectful behaviour from the restaurant staff we had to leave that place without having the experience of their food.

Bad quality food. Mutton and chicken piece are so tiny that you will regret after ordering. AVOID ORDERING MUTTON AND CHICKEN THERE.only good thing is free kochu Bata.... Stale fish fry. Pathetic and non chalant behavior of the staff. No hygiene. The restaurant smells like damp and weird. Pathetic odor. Avoid going here.

Ordered for Rice, postor bora, mochar ghonto and mutton. The mochar ghonto was completely stale and was smelling. The mutton was half cooked and the curry had no taste whatsoever... I had been visiting this place for so long but this will be my last visit.
